  I am trying to define it. Because I know there is a definition that is all encompassing. That fits into the rest of the giant puzzle that is existence. That is worthy of pursuit is it not.

  I absolutely love analysis, the God given right to lose yourself in the creation, it is the other side of the coin, where acceptance lies.

  Humbleness and modesty are one and the same. As always the English language with its multiple meanings and people's interpretations of it.... At least that's what the dictionary says.

  There's a kind of leaning towards being subservient and less than oneself, but that's not the meaning we imply. We imply discipline of the mind.

      Ok check this out:

      One needs both. Inclusionism, not exclusionism unless that is your choice.

      The mind must be disciplined. I mean you don't need me to tell you that, most  spiritual teachers have spoken of this through the ages. It's one of the things that meditation is for among other tools.

      A lot of new age people don't discipline their mind, but it is one of the most important things to start with. It is why there is so much argument on this site for example. The ego is running rampant and instead of pounding each other with each other's points of view, people should be actively asking each other, wow tell me more, that is interesting, the way you have put that down.

       To tell you the truth, that is a most rare thing among new agers, everyone is holding onto their point of view as if it was their lifeline. To the point of enforcing separation akin to what unawakened mainstream people already do so well.

      The heart needs a disciplined mind in order to come through. If you have power of manifestation, but you're still thinking, hmm that person screwed over my sister, time to put him in a dustbin in pieces... that's no good. You know which path that leads to. It's usually something far more subtle, every daily little reaction you have to something.... When you try to express love through an (undisciplined) egotistical mind you get what?

      Conditional love of course.

    I don't believe they are the same.

    The intent is different.

    You can be humble and modest.

    You can be humble and extravagant.

    You can't be modes and extravagant

    It is the difference between a attitude and a behaviour.

      The new age is not "either-or", it is both. Not exclusionist, but inclusionist. The reality of "you want it? ... you got it!" and  "You don't want it?..... no problem you got that as well" rules that level of consciousness. Instant manifestation.

      So piercing our 3d understanding is what my original post is all about. But to answer you, I have never seen someone be humble and extravagant all at once. At least not in this reality.

      Behaviour would be our outward action would it not? So Behaviour = Doing/Action

      Action in turn is derived from our inner state, our attitude as you say. Attitude = Being

      So attitude would be the feminine state of being while action/behaviour would be the masculine doing state.

      In light of this, would they not be one and the same, but polar opposite states.
