Spirit works in amazing ways! When we were on the Azores a young lady who lived there discovered we were on the island and told her partner, an Australian guy. He emailed us just a couple of days before we left the island and invited us to visit the community he is creating.
When he heard we were going to Australia he said “I have a friend Barbara who is the wife of one of the indigenous elders responsible for caretaking Uluru!”
We connected with Barbara and were really touched by her accounts of “Uncle Bob”, her husband and his desire to share widely knowledge, wisdom and stories of the Anangu, the first nation people who protect and revere Uluru and the surrounding lands.
This went against the tribal secrecy, but Uncle Bob was forward thinking and a visionary who knew it was time to move out of separation. Sadly, Uncle Bob passed away in 2015, and yet when we were talking with Barbara his energy joined us so strongly we both had goosebumps from his heart, his presence, and his support.
When we told Barbara our intention to reactivate the Pleaidian portal in Uluru she said, “We have been waiting years for this to happen”. Barbara was given the task by Uncle Bob of sharing his stories with the world… She is about to publish their first book in a few months…
