I am not sure whether I start to observe an inner resistance against channelled messages. An example might be here:
In fact, the number of almost daily channellings being exposed to the public is not little.
I am now more than 30 years into eschatological literature, and I have to confess my deep sympathy. Allow me to tell you why.
This kind of texts is both, birthground of christology and theology and field of sacred madness. Eschatological literature is finally madmen`s literature, and this makes it very interesting for me.
With madmen I do not mean madness simply leading to destruction and annihilation, but having language expressions exceeding the "normal". It seems as if there is a need for a certain madness throwing it`s texts on the table because "normal" texts are not heard anymore.
The revelation of John btw is full of grammatical mistakes (so called solecisms) and unbelievable texts having inspired countless artists, writers, thinkers, revolotionaries, reformers etc.pp. And so did other texts.
Those madmen are those who saw God`s realm under all circumstances, who believed in rescue even in deepest despair and death, who didn`t let go of their view of being God`s children even all around them crumbling down. This I call holy madness which can be found in their texts.
In this regard I also tend to see contemporary channellings. Actually I do not take them too much serious, but I often like to read them. I try to feel the mind behind the lines. I can feel whether there is a loving heart. This makes madmen`s literature so interesting for me - I try to look behind it in finding a loving mind set.
I wish in case some channeling person will read those lines I meet a gentle one who will not take my lines as insult or stubborn opposition. I`d rather ask for reluctant consideration - please remember that we are living under an inflation of words flooding our ears each day. And in the mind of St. John I`d like to say:
In the beginning was the word rather than babble...

I do not believe that channeling is the problem as humans have sought out oracles and soothsayers and all sorts of messages from other times and places and beings. I believe the problem lies within the feelings of people. How long would you believe someone if they told you they would call tomorrow and never do? Eventually you give up waiting for them to call. It doesnt mean you would not welcome their call if they did. Just that you are tired of spending time waiting for that person, time you set aside for them and to think and work on what you do with them. Time which could be better spent on other pursuits until the friend makes good on their word and calls.
Purposely misleading channels however do not help the situation, and shills have always been present in history as well to compete with other messages thereby distorting the available information for people, making it even more difficult to follow or believe those who bring messages.
