I Touched An Object and Heard [in my mind] What I think are people who touched it

I went to the store and I've been having a pretty good day. I'm having fun and I go and buy a monster high barbie doll and when I got home to open it, as I touched the box I heard in my mind two women talking about their kids and their wants and normal chit chat. I think maybe It is another sense maybe? I don't know but I've seen this stuff in movies before and I think it could be possible. Maybe I'm just too excited. But anyway, I was wondering if anyone on here has had anything similar happen to them.
