Gandhi was a great man/prophet who was "born under a curse," and will be remembered for what he did (despite having such a curse), as opposed to how or why he died. And his actions to help his people were (in my opinion) an ultimate "message of love," and not a reason "to outlaw metal objects that happen to resemble a penis" or to seek out those who are "nut-jobs" with metal objects in their hands (which also resemble a penis).
Basic Biography
NOTE: Mohandas Gandhi is also known as 'Mahatma' (great soul). Gandhi was the leader of the Indian nationalist movement against British rule, and is widely considered the father of his country, at least for the twentieth century. His doctrine of non-violent protest to achieve political and social progress has been hugely influential to others who seek social justice and fair treatment for everyone, and not just the financial interests.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar in Gujarat. After university, he went to London to train as a barrister. He returned to India in 1891 and in 1893 accepted a job at an Indian law firm in Durban, South Africa. Gandhi was appalled by the treatment of Indian immigrants there, and joined the struggle to obtain basic rights for them. During his 20 years in South Africa he was sent to prison many times. Influenced primarily by Hinduism, but also by elements of Jainism and Christianity as well as writers including Tolstoy and Thoreau, Gandhi developed the satyagraha ('devotion to truth'), a new non-violent way to redress wrongs. In 1914, the South African government conceded to many of Gandhi's demands.
Gandhi returned to India shortly afterwards. In 1919, British planed to intern people suspected of sedition with the Rowlatt Acts (AND DOESN'T SUCH "plans" SOUND EVER-SO-FAMILIAR IN A MODERN DAY CONTEXT OF "your tax dollars at work"). This prompted Gandhi to announce a new satyagraha which attracted millions of followers. A demonstration against the acts resulted in the Amritsar Massacre by British troops. By 1920, Gandhi was a dominant figure in Indian politics. He transformed the Indian National Congress, and his programme of peaceful non-cooperation with the British included boycotts of British goods and institutions, leading to arrests of thousands.
In 1922, Gandhi himself was sentenced to six years' imprisonment. He was released after two years and withdrew from politics, devoting himself to trying to improve Hindu-Muslim relations, which had worsened. In 1930, Gandhi proclaimed a new campaign of civil disobedience in protest at a tax on salt, leading thousands on a 'March to the Sea' to symbolically make their own salt from seawater.
In 1931, Gandhi attended the Round Table Conference in London, as the sole representative of the Indian National Congress, but resigned from the party in 1934 in protest at its use of non-violence as a political expedient. He was replaced as leader by Jawaharlal Nehru.
In 1945, the British government began negotiations which culminated in the Mountbatten Plan of June 1947, and the formation of the two new independent states of India and Pakistan, divided along religious lines. Massive inter-communal violence marred the months before and after independence. Gandhi was opposed to partition, and now fasted in an attempt to bring calm in Calcutta and Delhi. On 30 January 1948, he was assassinated in Delhi by a Hindu fanatic.
Basic Astrology Analysis
Note: I call 'em as I see 'em, and I suspect this is going to get me a lot of "hate mail" (or accusations of failing to be "positive" (or at least be nice-smelling or odor-free )), especially from those who follow the Vedic astrology perspectives. Please read this if this is the case: you have your system, and I have mine. And I don't care (or believe) that Ravi Shankar or his daughter were influenced by Maya, Sony, or that Mickey Mouse Corporation.
Gandhi was born under a curse. Literally. The North Node ("an apparatus for connections or associations with") was directly overhead when Gandhi was born. This in turn was in conjunction with a nebulous cluster in the rear of the Crab called The Aseli, and this is the interpretation for this (right out of the book):
"death by fever, fire, hanging, beheading, or violent catastrophe; ruin disgrace, wounds, injuries to face, eye trouble, imprisonment, to paticipate in or experience great changes in society."
But check this out: all aint that bad. Gandhi has his Sun position ("the physical body on earth") equal to the star of Diadem ("to sacrifice oneself for the bigger picture"). This would be what he will be remembered for, and not that unstable person who took certain religious ideas way too seriously and killed Gandhi.
The T-square consisting of the Moon between a Mars opposition Jupiter placement is a technical conflict that indicates "successful activities or success in competitive ways" (Mars opposition Jupiter) involving "the mother, women, the family, AND people in one's vicinity treated as 'family'" (and the Moon is in square aspects to both Mars and Jupiter). This "conflict" is fair to be interpreted as great success or outcome (Jupiter) with competitive-type actions (Mars) that involve groups of people and/or family members (the Moon) involved in conflicts (the square aspects) of some kind, and such conflicts may be involved with customers, clients, or individuals who are close to one's career or livelihood (Moon in the 10th house).
The focus is definitly on the Moon with these two "conflicts", and the Moon is situated high in the sky in an area of Ursa Major called "The Right Paw of The Great Bear." The Moon is also between two stars: Tania Borealis (fortunate for martial actions that involve "quick strikes," but not fortunate for nations or kings) and it's twin star Algenubi (fortunate for leadership, spiritual gifts, and power of expression BUT also potential for brutish or destructive actions).
We have to consider the fact that Gandhi had enemies. And he had plenty of them, people. And can you imagine the types of enemies he had to deal with back then? These were law-abiding scumbags who were no different than the money-addicts of today. These were advocates of Adam Smith's Economic School of "greed is cool" (later to be proven to be bullsh#t by John Nash, the Princeton economist with "A Beautiful Mind"). These were scumbags who couldn't figure out why the black (and white) slaves in the deep south of the United States wanted freedom and a decent wage, especially when their owners (i.e. slave masters) gave them free rent, free cocaine, free marijuana (or at least whatever they can pocket from the fields) and were even encouraged with much liberal sexual activity, as this made future offspring at a more rapid pace (with exception of reservation of young slave women for their legal owners, who were mostly toothless white entrepreneurs of the deep south with important connections to banks in London). I mean, come on! These were decent white southern men who read the law better than the judges did at that time, much like the decent white church-attending executives who worked for Enron and Turner Broadcasting. This legally-owned property (a.k.a. field hands) was even allowed to sing their un-Christian soul music in the fields while they worked (well, their music was considered to be un-Christian at that time, along with the American Indian religious practices that took place on land that suddenly contained gold (as was the case in Georgia and South Dakota).
AND DOESN'T THIS ALMOST SOUND LIKE WHAT IS GOING ON TODAY?
Gandhi directly took on the money-addicts at the Bank of England (and we will never read about it that way in History 101). And yes, the banking scam of using debt for enslavement was just as much the rationale and basis for money-addiction back then as it is now. And most of you know these people, and yes, some of them do fit the aggressive reptillian profile (as well as the crackhead and heroin-addict profile.These patients know their narcotic pain medication regimen (i.e. with money addicts, it's interest payment schedule) right down to the nanosecond, especially if such a scheduled regimen involves narcotics via IV push administration. Drug addiction is a big problem for everyone in society, but remember this statement about money addiction from a known money addict:
"Every man has his price." - John D. Rockefeller, oil tycoon, very serious money-addicted scumbag, and noted corporate gangster (who followed the law of the land and played organ at his church each Sunday).
The area of "open enemies" is the Descendant, located at 4 degrees Taurus 10 minutes on Gandhi's chart. And Gandhi has two stars right smack on this: the star of Alpha Cassiopeia ("the head of the Ram," and when linked with Mercury (and it is), it is defined as "the independent thinker and orator") and the star of Schedir ("The Queen of Schedar;" "the queen who is chained to the throne and is decent and diplomatic, but has a shadow expression for partaking in intrigue and power games.")
Finally, let's look at the midpoint of Mars/Neptune. This midpoint bisects the midpoints of Neptune/Pluto ("transformation of the power structure or beliefs") and the planet Mercury ("communications, speeches, pen and paper, 'the messenger'"). Mars/Neptune is "deceptive actions, con-artistry, accidents or injuries involving steel or metal, actions based on beliefs or ideas, and infections (especially if involved from surgery). I interpret this as "deceptive actions from others or oneself, or accidents/injuries involving steel" equals "communications that transform the power structure or change beliefs (with a huge impact on future events)").
