Hi,
I just found this in the news, and it looks strange to me.
A man in Bournemouth found blue jelly-like balls in his garden, that seem to fall out of the sky in a hailstorm.
It looks like a superabsorber to me, but I have no idea how this could get into the air. Another scientist's theory says it coud be eggs of marine invertebrates, but these balls are about 3 cm in diameter. Well, most of our marine invertebrates lay very small eggs (many, but small), and these balls don't look like the eggs of cuttlefish or other larger marine beeings. In addition, at the moment I can't remember any other marine invertebrate that would be large enough to lay such big eggs and that lives in the seas around this place.
So, has anyone of you ever seen something simliar?
Hoping for ideas,
TheBlueOne

Its called "star jelly". I was looking into this too, star jelly is commonly found after meteor showers.
Thank you,
an interesting hint to google for :-)
