Ground Yourself

Stand up. Keep your feet at least one foot apart. Visualize one of your legs as channeling a positive charge and the other as a negative charge(like a battery or electrical circuit). Relax for a moment and channel your energy as positive and negative into your feet. Now visualize that energy as two pillars of energy; one from each foot(one positive, one negative). Slowly extend both pillars of energy down into the ground while you keep the core of this planet in your mind's eye. When you have connected yourself to the planet; your energy flows from your positive pillar to the planet's core and then back to you though your negative pillar in a continuous cycle. You can also "anchor" yourself to this planet with the same process; but that is not something to be taken lightly.
