Mental work is order work.

It starts with giving a name. A name is a thing (noun) or a certain action the thing reveals (verb). Sometimes it is none of both - then it might be a conjunction, pronoun, noun marker etc.

If you can name something, you can describe it. If you can dscribe it, you can look for it and maybe find it everywhere anytime. You can register it. The unknown has become traces.

In many cases you not only name something, but give it a face. You feel that naming it is not enough. There is something beyond simply naming. You have the impression the something has an own life and maybe an own conscience. You personalize the something. You give it a face. The force gets a face. A nice word game in English...

I`m not really sure whether personalization is always necessary. I remember many years ago. I was in a strong eveangelical Jesus phase. Today I consider it a transitional phase.

Anyway, in this phase I saw many people being somewhat obsessed with the work of Satan. While always ready to fight against the work of evil in the name of Jesus, they were attracted by Satan and demons. Many books were published describing the work of demons.

I felt a natural disgust against such stories, because I saw the philosophy behind it. It is the philosophy of personalization at it`s best. If you personalize too much, you give the force not only a name, but by personalizing a face and thus an extra thrill. The personalized force thus can become a serious threat.

The latest story I read was yesterday John Kettler wrote about demonic kids with black eyes. This is exactly what I mean - it pulls peoples interest by the thrill of evil.

I also remember 20 years ago when a couple female students came to me one evening crying and totally upset. They had read about glass moving and wanted to try it.

They met in a home and strange things happened scaring them to death. Some fled and run to me. It took long to calm them down.

An old imagination was encountering a force with a face with another face coming from a person. Thus they called the name of Jesus against the personalized force of a threat. And I think that there is much truth behind it.

I`m still convinced from the power behind the name of Jesus. Once a woman wanted to kill me with a knife and a voice like coming from a demon. She throw me around like a doll and cursed God and Jesus. Then she wanted to stab me and I was scared to death. I cried the name of Jesus and she could not do anything to me. I was in the hands of that woman for about 5 hours before she finally slept and I could move...

In another case I felt the presence of an evil force, and my room filled with pich black smoke. Then Satan appeared in my door and I thought I must die. I screamed the name of Jesus, and the smoke could not cover me. And then the cruel scene disappeared and I was laying down with heavy breathing...

Personalization as enhanced naming might often be a proper thing, but not obsessively. Some personal entities are more shadow existences not worth getting too much attention. Demons do not deserve much attention and naming. I know that many are attracted by demonology and Satan and all forms of dark societies. They are energy and life sucking somethings not worth having much thoughts about them. Think about it.
