It looks like you are talking of the perpertual machines of the first kind, those that violet the first law of thermodynamics. Many physicists can never get past few sentenses reading about the possibility of such machines. We can perharps monkey with relativity, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, newtonian physics etc. But thermodynamics? Forget about it!
