We are at a point in history when this underbelly of sickness and abuse is about to be publicly confronted. The imminent motion of mass arrests on the horizon requires that we consider the implications.
When we are faced with the worst of the crimes, the abuse, the torture, the murder of children, what will be our response?
For those who are ready, the process of forgiveness can begin now. For those who feel ready and capable of ending the cycle of abuse that has dominated this planet for so long, we can choose to expand our sense of understanding.
Knowing the abuser was once the abused, what kindness can be in our hearts as they are brought to justice? Can we become free of thoughts of violence towards them? Free of a desire for their suffering?
For those who are ready, this karma ends with us.
