For my Sistars

    We are the sirens

      of the land

  our smile...our soft laugh

what man and child yearn for

  our hearts strong

  we bleed every new moon

  and in this sacred time

  we are shamans

our menstrual blood is medicine

  the life waters

  a red sea of life

  the holy grail is our womb...womb-an...woman

and later in life when a sistar reaches menopause...

she retains this potent essence for her own body...

until then she can share it in love

heal the earth

the plants will bolt strong

the animals will be healthy

the dirt replenished

  our menstrual blood is not only blood

  it is the sacred secretions of our third eye

  a combination of glands...pituitary, thalmus, and pineal

this only occurs during menstruation...during new moon

  I love you my Sistars

I celebrate womb-an hood

  I celebrate you

  when you wish...move your hips in rhythmic circles

releasing the dross...the dross is hard and rigid...it will crumble to pieces

you may feel your sexual energy like a little flame...embrace it...celebrate it

let this fire burn til it burns clear

 it  will snake up your spine

    to your third eye

 a chemical reaction occurs

feel your body sway in your own connection to bliss

you can create anytime

 dance the night away

 

Also...belly dancing...of any kind...strengthens our core...making menstrual cycles, digestion, overall health, and giving birth run smoother.  It is also good for men to dance and move their hips.
