Food And Hygiene : The Importance Of Wearing Gloves When Serving Or Preparing Food

Gloves are not to keep your hands clean as most people use them forGloves should be used for serving food and in some cases for preparing food .Gloves are not to keep your hands clean but to only touch food when serving or in some cases preparing.I have noticed countless times especially in temples that the people who are serving food wear gloves sometimes but mostly to keep their hands clean. I have noticed them touch their clothing and dirty surface tops and other places and then touch food which shows they lack common-sense as what is the point of wearing gloves.Gloves must only touch the food and that's the whole purpose of wearing gloves.I am mentioning this as countless times I have seen people wearing gloves and contaminating them and then touching food. I personally watch the person serving and if they touch their clothing or other areas with their gloves I do not eat there or only eat food that is being served with a spoon, ladle or thongs. Any food that they touch with dirty gloves due to their carelessness I refuse to take.Always watch the person serving and only eat if they used the gloves for the right purpose.SatNam
