There are reasons why many pursueing their ascension are single and independent. It is a must that the candidate is given their own space to think, work, research, and practice freely at their own pace while working to build their light body. When dedicated to this, your life will simplified and you will be given the alone time you need so that you are not distracted. Some do not see this as a positive as family and jobs suddenly dissapear away from the seen.
Although most of your time living will be similar to a hermit, you will find you will have the need for bits of excitement as all your lifetime skills are partially put on hold in order for you to do the needed work. This may make for some boring times and you may feel that you need to put some excitement back in your lives.
Dating can be one of those ways to relieve all the stress that comes with the ascension journey. As long as you know it won't interfere with your progress, dating can help you have fun and produce an air of excitement that you will need to carry through.
The positives of this, is that you may meet some like people that may be on the same journy. Also, the people you date will give you a good reflection of areas of your personality that may need to be tweaked as you go further. Lots of lessons come out of dating and relationships and the more you date, the greater chance you give yourself to learn more lessons and possibly bump into a karmic relationship that will teach you something.
The negatives is that you will have to be totally honest with people as to your purpose of dating and what your exactly looking to get out of it with that particular person. Do you want to have fun? Friendly relationship? A fling? Close relationship?
For the most part you are doing this for fun at the point in your journy, but you will be surprised of the people you run into. For me I ran into divine intervention people, karmic relationships, a twin flame, and lots of fun flings. All these encounters were needed to catapolt me to the next level and once I knew what the relationship was teaching me, I was not afraid to end the relationship right at that point so I can get to the next lesson.
One of the points of this, is that you need to do things that you enjoy to do and follow your desires honestly and passionately without judgement. Many spiritual people have too much guilt when it comes to recreational activities and tend to miss out on many opportunies to evolve further. Your ascenension journy is humbling enough. Do what you like to do and what makes you happy as often as you get a chance for. It will keep you balanced through the process.

being a man it is different I am sure.. I did it a couple times and the guys just cant keep their hands to theirselves no matter how many times I would push them away and it made for some uncomfortable dates.. The few that turned out good were never repeats, I am sort of 'cock-blocked' by my polar opposite in spirit.. The only relationships I ever had that were long term were very abusive. Divine feminine & masculine clash quite a bit, and I couldn't bring myself to be with someone who put me on a pedestal and lowered themselves to the point that I had to look down at them, I wanted equality and still do.. I'm waiting & preparing to unite with my polar opposite. Sex doesn't really work with anyone else anyway, only time I was ever satisfied was when I had sex with him in spirit.. I'm just different.
I don't have much luck dating, my POF profile seems to get nothing but "cute pics" for emails.. Where is deathcab for cutie when you need them? It's hard interacting with people who are on a different frequency.. I gave up on dating, I am just a hermit, 'the fool' and 'the world' heh.
