  • Money is just an illusion. Its not the real value of this world ;-) And definately not the real value of many of U here. I consider myself blessed in that I am able to only work with what I enjoy and when I enjoy it: Working on myself,  nurturing my lands and my planet, honing my Reiki skills, spreading my Light and playing my drums ;-)

Ohh and Nick....since U are in the music business and making so much money, feel free to ship a few 18" and 20" crash and ride cymbals my way. I could really use them for my drumkit ;-)

    Namaste...

    • Awesome replies thank you!

  • I've done a lot of different work, and I've made the best, and done the best I could at every job I've had!

A few I didn't like at all, and some I've loved.  It's my feeling that I am here on this planet to serve a "higher purpose" and even if you're working at a restaurant you have the capability to send good energy to people and that changes something in this world.

Also, people have the capability to DO so much more than they think they are capable of, it's just about being open to learning and changing.

    Such is life....

  • Yes! I am a Cook :) and prepare my food with a lot of love :)

  • my job is to help folks appreciate gardens, landscapes and nature without which we don't stand a chance of surviving as humanity.........I create gardens, help around gardens and help to design them. Also I work helping folks clean their yards clean and organized.

Also, I'll do small construction jobs around houses................................

    I don't make a lot of money and don't care to.8114013679?profile=original

  • I'm a graphic designer, and I LOVE IT.

I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but it has opened so many boundaries, I get to explore all kinds of cultures, understand different mind sets and use my creativity, it can be mainstream comercial work or it can be underground "artsy" work, you can work at a large company or work as a freelancer from home, you choose your lifestyle, you are pretty much your own boss.

Sounds pretty but it is a lot of hard work beore you enjoy the rewards.

I'm lucky to have found something that I'm passionate about and completes me so much!

  • I think that getting creative is the best thing to do in this economy....and that is what I am doing getting creative....

  •   I have worked as a CareGiver the last 17 years, and I have never found work that I enjoyed any where as much as being a CareGiver. During that time, I worked as a CNA in a Hospital for 5 years, and in many Nursing homes as a Traveling CNA.  I've also done Home Care, which I am back again doing, because it's a lot easier pace, and there are less Politics to contend with.

I never would have dreamed B4 I got my B.A. in Business Administration & Accounting & started a career in that field many years ago, that I would one day give all that up  (as well as the House & the new Cars) to one day be a simple CareGiver, or a Nurses Aide.

It doesn't pay much in $$, but the Real Rewards are truly Infinite!!!!!!The work has allowed me to experience incredible depths of Compassion, & opened my Heart enormously............ Doing the Work makes my Heart "Soar Like A Hawk", &  I often marvel that I get paid to Open my Heart.

    Peace & Blessings...........Starman

    •   I was  going to mention, I also enjoy doing Massage, Energy, & Healing work, which I have done for 32 years, but I don't get to experience the same levels of Compassion with that work as I do as a CareGiver.
