Comparing UFO With Ball Lightning

The aim here is not to insist that UFO is the same phenomena as ball lightning, though some people explain at least some of them so. Ball lightning is a mystery. Explaining one mystery using yet another mystery is like kicking a ball close to your own penalty area.Q:What is a UFO?A:It is a ball lightningQ:What is ball lightning?A:We don't know what it is.So it is a roundabout way of saying that we donnot freaking know what the hell UFO is.Ball lightning is an extremely rare phenomenon said to be experienced during lightning. At even rare cases, they are said to be experienced without the rain and/or lighting. It is a glowing ball that float around before disappearing after few minutes. It also can exhibit some bizarre behaviour such as passing through walls and chasing people. It appears to be intelligent!For most of us we just have to rely on testimony just like in the case of UFO. So to 'explain' why UFO donnot just pop out for the whole puplic to witness, you can invork the question of why ball lightning donnot simirlaly pop out to anyone. Are these guys equaly shy? Also since ball lightning can be said to fly, then yes, it is a UFO in this sense. Then it is worth noting to say that scientists only recently accepted that ball lightning is real. Like UFOs, they used to put it in the 'halucination-misinterpratation-hoax folder'.So it may not be said that I am just selling ignorance seald in the envelope of knowledge by saying UFOs are mysteries and ball lightning are mysteries, therefore both are somehow related, let me zero in on physics. What catches my eye is the claim that ball lightning can pass through a wall as this is presisely what I need to conceive of a star treking UFO. Ball lightning seems to be simple phenomena. After all leymen tend to think that when it comes to things to do with air, water, rain etc, physicists have it all figured out. I mean they are all happening just at our noses. How could it elude the eggheads figuring out quasars, branes, 26 dimensional universes etc. But nothing can be farther from truth! All the jazzy ideas as in wormholes, blackholes, dark matter, antimatter etc have be thrown in in an attempt to explain ball lightning! Fact is not a single physicist scratching his head with blackholes can explain a tornado! It is still reasonable to suppose that fairies does it!Lastly, I am reminded of movies where I watch 'magicians' rolls 'energy' with their hands to form glowing balls which they can use it as weapons.
