BARRY: there are some police that are good people, and there are some that are real jerks, especially in New York. Here's a video of a New York cop threatening to rape somebody (as was the case with the musician, he didn't know he was being recorded). He threatens the taxpayer at 0:44, telling him "I'll put my gun up your a$$." And yes, it is legal to busk on a subway; the Ashtar posted video features the police officer reading the law (handed to him by the musician) regarding busking.
