- He was born in Quebec but reportedly recently converted to Islam and had his passport seized after being designated a 'high-risk traveler'
- He shot reserve soldier Corporal Nathan Cirillo at the National War Memorial before running inside Parliament and exchanging gunfire with guards
- Heroic Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers shot him dead
- Police initially said there were multiple gunmen and at a press conference, they would not rule out other suspects
- Witness accounts of a suspect include descriptions of him as short with long hair, overweight, wearing a dark jacket and 'Arabic scarf'

I don't understand why this needs and entire discussion post................... am i missing something?
hi s mother said he was a never-do-well and he converted to islam where they teach hate and this gave him an excuse to murder someone in the name of allah-don't read the post if you don't like the headlines
The problem with these events is that they allow the state an opportunity to crack down on everyone's personal freedoms and civil liberties and all in the name of national security...
We had this after 7/7 in the UK, the Americans had it with 911 and it's a shame to see this happen again, this time in Canada, which has become a country I've grown fond of, especially so, as my gorgeous GF and sweet babe is from Alberta..
Up till now Canada has been a type of "Norway," "Switzerland," or "Sweden." Keeping the peace, with a low profile and keeping out of the dirty business of trying to control the world, which in contrast, is a habit well-known to the UK and US..
The media does like to hype this up, for effect...and the politicians take the bait and set about expanding their police state...
Knee jerk reaction is never good...We in GB should know this by now...

all the countries you listed drexx and including the US teach radical islam in the mosques-their should be a serious crack down on imamas who sell jihad -why haven't any of these countries (they have to some extent) done this? You answer that question in your comment.
