What absolutely ridiculous thinking. Why should they have a vote on a country they don't even live in? You DO NOT OWN Scotland. Scotland belongs to the SCOTTISH people and it is their right to self-determination to decided what should happen to it. Furthermore, If Scotland was such a drain, why is England so desperate to "keep" Scotland? It might be interesting for you to note that Scotland is actually a net contributor to the UK economy and ranks higher than the UK as a whole in terms of GDP per capita (Scotland would have been 16th in the world). It might be also interesting to note that Westminster has gathered more than £250 billion pounds worth of oil-tax revenue in the last 30 years from Scotland. Could they tell us where all that has gone? NO. All the while, Norway has become stinking rich and build up a multi-billion pound oil fund (£600 million). Instead, Scotland was insulted with having the UK's entire nuclear arsenal dumped in her backyard. I astounds, it really really troubles me that in this day and age there are so many colonialist-minded people like you around. Again, you DO NOT OWN SCOTLAND and You DO NOT have the right to tell a sovereign people what to do.

As an American I can understand strength in unity but the 'ruling class' has been indoctrinated into this global bs-I'll bet one of the major unspoken issues is unrelenting immigration from non european countries
I voted in the Scottish referendum for independence and I was utterly devastated to lose. In the last week of the campaign, all the local newspapers and big business turned on the YES campaign... the banks threatened to move to England (Even the Royal Bank of Scotland - the traitors) and retail groups were threatening price rises. I think the whole thing was fixed by the power elite. Trouble is, Scots have been brainwashed since birth to think that the UK is actually a good thing by the Media and education system, when in reality it is the near most unequal "country" in the industrialized west.
For as long as people keep looking for change, they won't find any.
