Back in the day, I used to be into Ashtar. I used to spend as many hours as I could, I was a teenager with lots of free time, checking out Ashtar sites. I read the channelings, did meditations, all sorts of stuff. If someone said something negative about him, I became irritated. Fast forward to today. Ashtar Sheran. I just don't give a damn about that dude. I don't care about the channelings, or the so-called commanders, or the fleets. I don't care about the people who claim to be his long lost relative from the 53rd dimension. I don't care about all the conflicting info, and Christ, there's tons of it, concerning who he is and what he's about. And don't get me started on all the so-called channeled portraits of that guy. I'm actually rather bored of it all.
But amongst all this not giving a damn, I learned something very important. It's not about Ashtar. It's never been about Ashtar. It's not about aliens, "commanders" fleets or any of that stuff. It's about us. It's about rising to the occasion and doing what we must to change the world for the better. Am I the only one who has noticed a common thread amongst those channelings? That thread being that we need to do the work to make the world better. They often say we're stronger than we think, we have to capacity to enact great change, etc. Guess what? It's true! The aliens aren't here to save us, they're here to remind us that we can save ourselves. They're here to remind us that it's our responsibility to save ourselves.
They aren't gonna coddle us like children, so don't expect them to wipe your ass. This is our time and we must rise to the occasion. There is no reason for us not to. There is no reason for us to waste time waiting for one day, when the aliens are gonna beam us up from the problems that surround us. If you want a better world, stop bitching about it and help create it. We've all heard the New Age slogans, "We're gods in the flesh" and "We are infinitely powerful". So why are we waiting around for the aliens to do the work for us? Either we're strong or we're weak, can't have it both ways.
So I say instead of being concerned about Ashtar and what he's up to, let's spend time getting involved with the affairs of our world. Reading channelings isn't gonna change anything, but taking the advice to get up off our lazy asses and doing something constructive will. So what's it gonna be?
