Please, if you know someone who can't afford medical, let them know that Arkansas is the only state in the union that has 100% FREE HEALTH CARE, with 0 co-pay. Under the obamacare plan Arkansas has adopted private option which gives it's residents completely free health care so long as you qualify. You will qualify if you are not terminal when you sign up and make under $15k per year. I am stating this as a public service announcement. Blessings all.

and there is no free healthcare-gov is too big and so corrupt that we owe almost 20 trillion !!! obama and the gov added 12 trillion to the debt in 8 years!!!!! gov universal healthcare would add another 20 trillion in 10 years!!!
free market healthcare will create competition to drive down costs with effeciecy and lowering the awards on lawsuits that are health related will also add to lower premiums-again lawyers who became politicians took the cap off awards and we have had these huge payouts that they get 15-20% of and the cost goes to premium costs-you pay it and you will pay more in taxes for 'free healthcare'

When I say "FREE" I am only implying that it is free to the person who is receiving the "health care option", here in Arkansas! It's not a perfect system, but for anyone who can't work due to illness and can't afford to pay for medical, this would work perfectly. I am not stating that people don't pay taxes, they obviously do! But here in Arkansas, if you make under $15k a year, you qualify for "private option", and pay 0. I think that it's good to know. I am not saying that the "system" is perfect, I am only stating that this does exist and if you know anyone who could use something like this in their lives, please share this information. I mean, it's no different than people moving to Colorado so that they can get medical marijuana. Like I said, this is a public service announcement, not a political debate.

Of course the free healthcare is paid by the taxes....that is what the tax money is for, to provide services for the people......not to subsidise the corporations and make wars. If the tax money is used correctly, then there is plenty for everyone. Canada has free health and dental care and their taxes are lower than in the USA...... most developed countries have free healthcare...USA is the only one that does not.
I dont get it some comments here. I have free healthcare in US. my dentist is covered by Medicaid, and regular doctor. Certain treatments must be approved first by the provider but so far I had no problems with it and I had to copay 5% of some medications I had to take at those times.........
I actually lived in Arkansas , few yrs back , for about 10 yrs in and out , and even then the state was generous with linkcards (or food stamps) for out of towners ( I didnt have a house or appartment there under any registered adress , I actually lived in the tent in the QUACHITA nATIONAL FOREST ). its not surprising that the most depressed and poorest state in the union has such a help for its residents. I am guessing 80% of its population cant even find a job............
and what is wrong with such a program to be paid by taxes ? Most european countries that have such programs ( which are human right to have ) , is payed by taxes............
