  I'm sorry , i really don't know.

  I know it is a little harder than the surrounding rock material, because you can feel the slight lump where the(flower) is.

    is it some sort of crystal do you think?  check for light refraction

      lol..this thing's pretty small, i super macro'ed on it , the flower itself is only a centimeter and a 1/2 max around.

      ill link the full picture so it's easier to see.
