    Having the task of molding these skulls into what they have looked is in real life is unpleasant work and would certainly make one's skin crawl ..

  But in my perception, Russia is scientifically advanced. Many sciense fiction like discoveries, such as superconductivity, space age etc came from Russia and Soviet Union.

  This is not a good science practice. It is well stated in scientific method:
  
  "all scientific discoveries must be shared with the rest of the world"
  
  Knowledges kept secreat are not part of science. They are gnosticism, not science. Actually, it is part of reproducibility criteria. All science findings must be reproduced by other people. This will be impossible if people kept the findings to themselves. Science would not advance. No one will build upon your findings to discover even more. We would remain squarely tight in stonnage.
  
  From practical perspective, what if you discover a way to move to stars but you are too modest to share it with other pple. Of what benefit is your discovery to human beings?

    Rama, actually we spoke of earlier period in Russian history, communist regime, when Russians were much more secretive than now....but, the others his many things...we see that now

    I completely agree with your point that the knowledge needs to be shared in order for us all to benefit, and it is happening more and more lately...

  Russia and its underdeveloped (and from the world completely disconnected) citizens couldn't produce water even if they had access to Fire and Ice.

  I tried to source-check this material, but came up empty. Maybe HP can give us some clues to where this info comes from?
