These New Years are pathways into yourself, windows for you to examine more closely your actions and experiences, doors to step through, forward into a more accurate forecast of your dreams and intentions.

Are you setting New Year’s Intentions? May I offer a suggestion?

This New Year, why not resolve to focus even more on deepening your practice of “Self Love.”

It is through Self Love that we most intelligently change our lives, that we most easily enter into service to humanity, with the actions most accurate to our divine intention for life on Earth.

The question is not if you want to love yourself, but how? What to do to realize Self Love?

The answer is really quite simple:

Just pause. Pause your mind, pause your busy schedule just for five minutes a day, every day, possibly multiple times a day.

Pause, close your eyes, and touch your heart. Use your hand to physically connect with your heart or do this internally, by turning your mind’s eye to your heart, your innermost self and say simply, “I love you.”

Say whatever needs to be said to yourself. This may vary every time you do this.

Perhaps “I love you” may become “I approve of you” or “You are enough as you are” or “You are beautiful.” Trust the impulse. Speak to yourself.

Breathe deeply, as if you are drinking your words.

Then, return to the present, whatever is happening in your life.

It only takes a moment to truly transform yourself.
