With so many outrageous things happening in our world right now, I really couldn’t decide what to post today. One after another after another article on ShiftFrequency kept jumping out at me as one of the most astute things I’ve read in a long, long time.
Then Gillian posted a video revealing how GMO’s affect tryptophan and serotonin: “A serotonin deficiency is correlated with violent and irrational behavior, anxiety and depression. Listen to the amazing personality changes when a mother removes GMOs from her son’s diet.
Jeffrey and Stephanie explain how glyphosate in our food supply affects us in behavioral ways.” You can click here to watch that video, and while watching, do consider all the hoopla over mental health and the need for massive doses of pharmaceuticals in order to keep people “sane” and in line. Ummmmm…. how about banning GMO’s?
Anyway … this world is exploding with boogie men right now. Did you know that Monsanto has competition for the most evil corporation in the world? Yep. Nestle.
The slave labor using chocolate company has been privatizing water, causing water shortages and exploiting the poor all over the world - including in America - and then marking up the price of water by 53 million percent.
They believe the idea that water is a fundamental human right is “an extreme position.” You can read about that here.
It’s all important stuff … all worth finding ways around and imagining and implementing preventions and solutions … but in the end, I came back to this hang video I saw last night on Lucas’ blog. David and I enjoyed this one in early 2012, and we also liked whenever a hang drummer used to play outside the Willy Street Co-Op in Madison.
Today’s post, despite all the insanity in this world, is a reminder of the power of music, focus, intention, Nature and pleasant feelings … because really, we all need that! So, here ya go:
