This happened some years ago.
A joung man with a womanizing kind could not decide which one of a handful of ladies he should take for honest dating. So he asked his mother.
In her practical attitude she adviced him to invite each single lady for coffe at their home. There he could observe whether the girls really listend to what he was saying.
His question was always the same.
When it came to pouring out a cup of coffe, he asked the girl to only pour out a half of a cup.
All ladies didn`t seem to listen to him and made the cup brimful.
Except one which he then married.
Weeks later he asked his wife why she was pouring out him only a half cup of coffe as he wished.
Well honey, she said, this was simply because the coffe was out!
