I hope he eats humble pie, keeps British ownership of Chagos, including our military bases on Diego Garcia, which also allows an American presence and why Trump was appauled at what Starmer did, initially...planning to cede it to Mauritius, a nation with no historical claim to the island chain, anyway...
The island chain controlled by Britain, since 1814....and strategically very important for western interests...
Starmer is a rather stupid man. Imagine if you outright owned a house. Mortgage paid off, it's your property and some official from the local socialist council, asks you to give up ownership of your own home, in accord with red tape rules. But you can live in it, under an approved lease, paying rent for 99 years.. And you must give up the garden, which emulgamates with a neighbour's garden, in another street.. That is how stupid Starmer and Lammy are...with regard Diego Garcia and Chagos..And note how they always try to aid Chinese interests, in that strategic region of the Indian ocean...Diego Garcia has several military bases, including airfields, submarine and navy shipping docks...It was essential during the Gulf wars.
