  Starmer failed in several ways, yesterday...He may hide behind process, but the crux of the whole Mandleson scandal appointment to an important diplomatic post, was why..? Why attempt to get Mandleson in that senior post, as Ambassador to the US, in spite of previous mischief when in office?? (Mandleson was sacked twice for breeches.)
  Everyone, including the PM (who claims ignorance) knew that Mandleson had links to Chinese CCP businesses, as well as Epstein....So why attempt to override the vetting process and then pretend you did not know anything about the results...MI6 rejected the appointment, but it went ahead, anyway, under political pressures through the CFO..
  Starmer won't say, but we have probed it all and discovered that Starmer had been instructed to get Mandleson in the post, AT ALL & ANY COST, so as to match the Trump administration....Mandleson was believed to possess the needed skills to hoodwink Trump over Chagos and other matters....They wanted to fight fire, with fire and took the Mandleson risk...breaking several moral and security rules.......Even giving him above top secret access, without passing the vetting process...which is an outrage....They were in a state of panic, over Trump and wanted a match for him, in Washington...Using a counter-dealer and sly operator..a "prince of darkness," which is the Mandleson press designation..

So that even if a candidate for a sensitive diplomatic post, is vetted by the intelligence service initially, and the vetting failed to pass the candidate, for example Peter Mandleson, then the civil service chief, in charge of the Home Office, such as Olly Robbins, can overrule the vetting anyway and permit the candidate access, WITHOUT having to inform the Prime Minister.....As Liz suggests, before 2010, this process existed, but was informal and generally, the civil servant would give a hint as to the course of action taken, informing the politicians. HOWEVER, now the 2010 act has placed such a communication, to be in breach of law....So the PM is not told that the vetting decision by the intelligence services were cancelled and the candidate's position went ahead, anyway, on the say so of the head of FCO, who is not obliged, nor requested, to inform the Minister or Prime Minister.....Basically a crazy state of affairs for the UK to be in......Reform must return powers to elected politicians...
  We all assume Starmer to be a fool, who "did not know." And actually, he was kept in the dark by a law passed by his own party's administration, when Gordon Brown was PM...which has come back to bite the politicians and everyone else, linked..
