  The UK "government" are still pushing for mandatory digital IDs, yet there are so many logistical obstacles to it's roll out, it seems to no avail....Both technical, corporate and legal obstacles, against the introduction...Of course, this devious lot could try some subterfuge to get their odious plans consolidated, but even then, it won't actually happen, for all...
  
  The plans are truly unpopular, anyway.....Nobody trusts a UK government, and especially this one, to secure privacy from hackers, nor misuse by big gov and corporates, themselves...
  The petition to not introduce Digital ID cards in the UK, is very close to 3 million signatures, as of today....
  
  From a legal and corporate perspective, the Apple company could put the kybosh on the whole thing, and if not them, then their customers could...
