Ashtar in Ancient India
As one of the Hindu Gods, Agni, Hindu religious literature is known as the Vedas. The Vedas are a large body of literature including the two Indian Epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata as well as the Puranas. Lord Ashtar came to Earth during the ancient Hindu period and taught the Sage Vasishta the Galactic Wisdom Teachings. This is known as the Ashtar Vidya or Ashtar Knowledge. This oral tradition was taught to the Rishis in ancient times and eventually was transcribed to become the Agni Purāna. This was the Starfleet Academy teachings from Ashtar. Besides theology the voluminous epics also provide information about ancient Indian society, philosophy, culture, religion and ways of life. The Vedas teach one how to enter the Path to Enlightenment.

There is some knowledge hidden about Ashtar Weapons and Ashtar Magic...and if it gets in the wrong hands just one person is capable to destroy Planet Earth in an instant.
Ashtar, Ashtar-vidya [possibly from Sanskrit astra weapon, missile + vidyā knowledge] Used by Blavatsky for “the highest magical knowledge” (SD 2:427). Astra-vidya, the science of warfare, when transferred in usage to the everlasting struggle of the adepts of the right-hand with those of the left, would take the significance not so much of the science of missiles or weapons, but that of high and powerful magic forces. “The most ancient of the Hindu works on Magic. Though there is a claim that the entire work is in the hands of some Occultists, yet the Orientalists deem it lost. Hello Ravinder. I'm not very good in Hindi, but my good friend Vikram Singh from Varanasi named his daughter Astra. He said it meant sky or heaven. So it would make sense to me that "Astra or Ashtar vidiya" means knowlege from the sky or heaven.
