i was not yet four years old , but this i remember clear as day.
my father was at work , my baby brother in his crib and mother was doing dishes.
wile i was far across the kitchen at the table climbing on the chairs ,no one could get near me as there was but one way in the kitchen and mother was there at the sink by the entry some 15 feet maybe
so i am standing on a chair and my mother sees me and asked me to get down before i fall and get hurt. i refused and said some thing like i won't fall or why, she asked again and threw in how god dose not like it when kids do not do as there told .and i said some smart like who's god where is he calling it BS doing just fine standing on the chair , no fear
then slap ,very hard slap across my face that stung and sent me to spin around and fall , but just before i hit the ground some thing caught me and i was not hurt
my mother had her hands still in the sink and no one was near me and i started to scream as i felt a thick presence and my mother then turned and said see i told you christy ,she rushed to may aid all are you okay
i was fine and tried to tell her what happened but i had not the language so i just said okay no more mouthing of to mom or this god person
