I'd appreciate it if the ACC members would share the story of their awakening. When and how did it happen? Were you born already awakened? How has your life changed since awakening? What, if anything are you doing about it? Do you feel positive or negative about it? Do you need help?
Here's mine... from the very beginning of my life I felt special and wanted to help mankind but this is how my path began...when I was in my early 20's I read an excerpt from the book and the supposedly true story called The Search for Bridey Murphy. It's about a young woman's past life as a young girl in Ireland named Bridey Murphy. This was my first time hearing about reincarnation and I totally believed it. A few months after reading the excerpt my mom made her transition and that book gave me hope that she was not really dead but living another life. I started reading everything I could about reincarnation and life after death. I joined a religion and studied the bible but though interesting did not find the answers I was looking for so my search continued. About this time I began to meditate and this is when my world started to shift. I read another book that helped me called Life After Life by Dr. Raymond Moody. I read many other books...the Ken Carey books, the Kryon books, the P'Taah books, etc. I then came to the realization I was on the earth to do a job but what I did not know? I read several books from the I AM Discourse series, the book Three Magic Words by US Anderson and nearly all of the books by Neville Goddard...the Tao. Actually, all of the books I've read in my search is too long to list. I became a Reiki Master and studied many other forms of natural healing modalities.
Through meditation, dreams and all of this reading and researching I found my answers...I felt in my heart I am from the Stars making me a starseed and that I came here to help facilitate the healing of Mother Earth and her children and to help them ascend into a higher state of consciousness using nothing more than love to accomplish this. Whenever I know someone is in need of healing I do what I can to help them heal themselves. I meditate first thing every morning and every evening under the stars when possible before I retire...sending out love and healing to the Mother and to any who need it and of course, to my star family [hi Tally ;)].
I continue to read, research and study to better myself for the day we see and experience the paradise earth we all long for. I also look forward to the day our star families introduce themselves to our earth families. I have positive feelings for myself and the future of Gaia.

Great and interesting story, RIJ! Now, there's nothing in the world wrong with Reggae or Hip Hop...you just have to open your mind. We have a friend here who posts some very spiritual Reggae which I promise will get you movin' and thinkin'. ;)
I believe until it's your time to depart you will be protected and that sure sounds like your case. Boy oh boy you sure came close but there's nothing the angels or our guides cannot do for us.

I also agree Avatar, GREAT post. I also basically started life always different from the majority. And please don't take this the wrong way - but whatever I chose to do in my life - I was for the most part, always one of the best at whatever I did (except for choosing life-partners) I was an electrician for over 40 years and really, most the guys I worked with, I'd forgotten more than most knew and as far as a musician, I was a lead guitarist right from the beginning when I was 13 - not because "I had to be the guy" - it just came naturally as well as many genres of music - rock, country, blues, jazz, western swing - NOT HIP-HOP OR REGGAI!
I always knew I had a purpose, but never knew what it was till I joined these assorted sites - ASHTAR COMMAND COMMUNITY,.....FEDERATION OF LIGHT,.....ExtraTerrestrials and after I joined, I realized assisting in humanity's mass awakening was one of the things I was supposed to do. I had two motor vehicle accidents - 1 driving and 1 as a pedestrian that would surely have ended my life, were it not for - well.....the only way to say it is DIVINE INTERVENTION! The first, was on April 23, 1983 my mothers 53 birthday - It was late at night, we (my girlfriend and I) had just finished playing a gig and we were on our way to
the all-night diner to eat and my $100 leather hat blew out the window and she would not stop so I could get it "We'll get it after we eat" (we were both drunk and stupid) We got to the diner, I leaped out of the car and ran off down the road heading for the interstate I-95 in Groton, CT. That's my last conscious memory. I jumped the guardrail and ran across the lane, into the high-speed lane heading to the other side to get my hat wherever it may be and ran right in front of a 280 Z Datsun sports-car. He hit me, my body flew up and over the car and over the guard-rail and wound up 10 feet below the highway in the grassy area separating
North-bound and South-bound. He continued on as if nothing happened - a hit and run! Following behind him was another vehicle and the guy "just happened to be" and EMT with a car-phone, (cell phones weren't invented till 1985) orange & black "witch-hat" cones & a flashing light for his roof. He pulled over, went down to see my dead body so he could call the police but I was not dead. I wouldn't be going dancing right away but I was alive, "bleeding like a stuck pig". He called the police & ambulance and sat there waiting till they got there. Had it not been for him, I wouldn't be writing this! But the second event was even more outrageous.
1997, approx. May - it was somewhere around 2:00 in the afternoon. I had just finished working at my girlfriends house, fixing the Oil Burner and doing some electrical work so we could get it rented. I was on my way home, on a 2-lane country road, not doing more that 35 MPH, approaching the final corner, before the approximate mile to my house. Without warning, my van (Ford E-250 Tradesman Van) turned hard right and went into the wooded swamp and flipped onto the passenger's side and burst into flames. The next thing I knew, the door opened, and my future step-daughter opened the door - (out jumped her Husky dog I'd just
gotten for her, and ran away) she grabbed my arm and pulled me out. (I was not wearing my seatbelt or she couldn't have saved me because she couldn't have reached me.) After she got me out, she led me around the van, out of the woods and across the road at which time the van exploded and burnt to a cinder, with me losing all my tools and ladders and van - no insurance. (dummy) When the van flipped onto the passengers side, you'd assume it would be laying on the door, but "no way, Jose" as luck (and my angels) would have it, it landed on a stone wall in the woods, allowing Amy just enough room to get the door open and pull me out!
But what was she doing there - I was alone except for her dog. She and her mother were on their way to Wal-Mart. When Robin got down to the bottom of the driveway, instead of turning left, she turned right and Amy said "Mom, where are you going, we're going to Wal-Mart, it's the other way". Robin said "I know honey, but something's making me go this way but it's OK cuz when we get to Bradford, we'll just go left and down "District # 6" road and get there the back way". As they rounded the corner, Amy said "Oh my God mom, that's Jims van in the woods on fire".
They pulled over and both leaped out, Robing going to the drivers side, which was way up in the air - and Amy going to the passengers side. I lost all my tools and my van, but didn't get a scratch. So do I think I have help from a higher power - of course I do, but I never take that for granted and all my life, I've tried to give and help others as much as I could. for me - life has never been about money. We all currently need it for a while longer but as a poem I wrote a few years ago said "The Concept of Money" - "Printed paper, backed up by rocks" - how ludicrous is that?? So I know there's a plan for me and I can't wait to make it happen!!!

Your poor mom, Tally you must have given her a nervous breakdown! Just the thought of my baby up on a roof at the age of 9 or 10 years old is nearly too much to contemplate but 10 months old?...shame on you! LOL My dad was a roofer and I used to get on roofs with him when I was 6...for some reason it never scared me.
Wow...sounds like you've been having close encounters most of your life.. how exciting. I'm glad they were good experiences for you...as we know some aren't quite as lucky.
I see you were a loner too...I was always popular in school but always felt lonely...many starseeds do.

Ever since I can remember I've been a "pioneer", always doing things "differently", or in my own ways. When I was 10 months old I secretly climbed a 15-foot ladder and taught myself to walk on top of a large flat roof with no guard rails, in about an hour or so. When I was 6 I had a close encounter with an ET craft, where I signaled to it with a drawing on a children's chalkboard... and it responded by almost landing at my location... only to be chased off by helicopters and military jets.
After graduating high school (valedictorian, senior class president), it became clear to me how "backwards" many systems in our american society were, and I "dropped out" of the so-called "higher education" programs and embarked on a journey of self-discovery and investigations, reading books on ET contact and spiritual growth... and getting into meditation.
I have been largely "disconnected" from organized society since then, with the exception of my main chosen form of self-discovery and enjoyment... pool/billiards... which appealed highly to my drive for self-perfection. Only within the last several years have I been working consciously to "reintegrate" myself into organized society... doing energy healing work, using online interactions, poetry, and music.
I Love you All... and am so happy to be a part of this particular community of "Conscious Collaborators". : )
You know, Lux as I read the different awakening experiences so much more of my own is coming back. When I was a little child I'd wake up with my pajamas inside out knowing when I went to bed they were right side out because my mom had dressed me. My mom would ask me why my pajamas were like that and the only thing I could think to tell her was I must have taken a bath and put them on wrong. She'd just shake her head and say that didn't make sense. :)
Avatar...the more I initially accepted my path, the more I remembered. So the process was more of a remembering then the learning of specific lessons. I could actually write a book on it if I wanted, but I do believe that the most important books have already been written...at least before ascension.
Lux, I agree it's not always best to tell parents what's happening in your young life. I did not tell mine either but they would not have believed me regardless. I had many challenges before I could fully get on my path and appreciate what was happening...many lessons to learn.
Very good, Vanaja....you're doing a great service to mankind and hopefully we'll not have too much longer to wait. Would you've been allowed to ascend with your physical body? I've read some of the article but this a busy time in the early evening for me so will read more in depth when time allows. Thank you for all you do.
Hi Avatar...my awakening was 51 years ago. I am now 56 years old. My parents never knew about my experiences...I chose not to tell them. On account of not having told them, I inherited a very spiritually charmed life. I was given high frequency information at a very young age...naturally that put me on the path so to speak.
