To love one another is the greatest joy03/17/2010 by John SmallmanThe intensity of divine energy enveloping Earth at this time is of a magnitude so great that any attempt to describe it in terms you could make any sense of would be futile. God’s Love for you all is awesome, beyond comprehension. His Will for you is that you exist in a state of boundless, eternal joy — and nothing any of you can do will prevent that! It has been your right and your heritage from the moment of creation when you were brought into being in that state, and you have never left it.The illusion, which you made in a tiny moment of insanity, does not and cannot contain you, even though the environment it seems to provide appears so real and inescapable to you. The power of the Son of God is immense when he creates with God. But he made the illusion without God, secretly, in his imagination, and not within the divine Reality outside of which nothing exists. So it remains as it was — an illusion. . . a very unpleasant nightmare that will fade into nothingness when you awaken.Your task is to awaken. You were never meant to sleep, and in the brilliant light of God’s eternal day there is no need for sleep. Sleep — your present state of “waking,” or limited, consciousness — is part of the illusion. It is a means for you to close down your awareness so that you can imagine yourselves abandoned, cut off, alone, and separated from God’s Love. Without His Love you are bereft and grieving. The sensation is terrifying and heart-breaking, so you bury your pain in denial of His existence and in denial of your need for Him. No wonder you are suffering, fearful, anxious, and in pain. This need not be. Ask for help from Him, or from any of the guides, saints, or angels in the spiritual realms. They are waiting for your call.Yes, many of you do call, and then you keep talking and are consequently unable to hear the loving answer offered to you. Always your calls and prayers are answered — so be silent and listen. Forgiveness is the key. Your Father has forgiven you because you asked for forgiveness, even though you have done nothing that needs forgiveness because in the nightmare nothing happens — there is nothing that could happen. But you feel slighted and hurt by others and you believe you have sinned, yet none of this has happened. In order to free yourselves from the illusion you must embrace forgiveness wholeheartedly, forgiving yourselves and others for what really has not happened.It is your unwillingness and inability to forgive that maintains the illusion and causes you suffering. As you start forgiving it will feel as though a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. You will begin to feel lighter and more accepting; your fear will ease and love will seep in to replace it. To forgive is truly miraculous because it leads you to acceptance of yourselves and of others. Then that acceptance expands into compassion, bringing you an inner peace that you had not previously experienced. To love one another is the greatest joy, and it will remove your fearful need to hide. You will want to awaken into your Father’s loving Presence, and you will want your sisters and brothers to awaken with you and accompany you into His Presence.To forgive is to awaken to the awareness that you and your brothers and sisters are one, and that to harm one harms all. And so your forgiving intensifies, your love grows, and its light shows you the way out of the nightmare and towards your heavenly home where incomparable peace and happiness will envelop you forever.With so very much love, Saul.
