CHAPTER XI
THE SACRED COW
Before the second Transapalnian catastrophe—which fundamentally altered the appearance of the Earth's crust—there existed an ancient continent that today lies submerged beneath the turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
I wish to refer emphatically to "Atlantis," a subject surrounded by countless traditions everywhere.
Consider, for instance, the foreign Atlantean names—or those from "barbaric" tongues, as they were called by those Cretin-like Greeks who sought to murder Anaxagoras when he dared to claim the sun was slightly larger than half the Peloponnese.
Names, I say, that were translated into Egyptian by the Saïfic priests and restored to their original meaning by the Divine Plato, before being marvelously rendered into the language of Attica.
Observe the diamond-like thread of millennial tradition stretching from those ancients to Solon, , continuing then with the two Critiases and Master Plato
Behold—I tell you—extraordinary descriptions regarding the botany, geography, zoology, mineralogy, politics, religion, and customs of the Atlanteans.
Observe, too—with the eyes of a rebellious eagle—the veiled allusions to the first Divine Kings of that ancient antediluvian continent; figures to whom Mediterranean Paganism and the most ancient sacred texts of the East also make frequent reference.
Sublime kings of whom those astonishing notes by Diodorus Siculus—which we have yet to study—provide a detailed account.
Finally, observe—and this is the most interesting point—the very sacrifice of the Sacred Cow, a practice characteristic of Brahmins, Hebrews, Muslims, European Gentiles, and thousands of other peoples. It is indisputable that the renowned and indestructible bullfighting arena is, at its core, nothing more than an ancient, ancestral survival of that Atlantean sacrificial rite—a ritual described in many secret, archaic texts.
Indeed, there are many legends worldwide concerning those bulls that roamed free within the Temple of Neptune—animals that were not subdued brutally, as they are today with pikes and swords, but rather with lassos and other ingenious techniques of Classical Tauromachy.
It is strikingly clear and definite that only IO—Devi Kundalini, the Five-Legged Sacred Cow, the Divine Mother—truly possesses that Magical Serpentine Power which allows us to reduce the Animal Ego (the bellowing beast of the bullring of existence) to cosmic dust.
The vowels IO constitute, in themselves, the number TEN—the number of generation and the ratio of the circumference to the diameter.
Obviously, then, IO is the number Pi (*Pithar*), the tremendous masculine-feminine mystery.
IO is also the Swastika—*Fohat*, or the transcendent sexual electricity—represented by the cross within the circle (the symbol of the Earth), a subject about which an entire book could be written.
It is written in letters of fire in the Book of Life that this Swastika symbol—acting as a mathematical coordinate—has existed in every country on Earth since the dawn of time.
We urgently need—with pressing necessity—to become "Cowherds," that is, wise guides of the "Sacred Cow." The Venerable Grand Master H.P.Bablasky. actually saw a genuine five-legged cow in Hindustan; It was a true marvel of nature, an immaculate, snow-white, ineffable miracle...
Don Mario Roso de Luna said that this singular creature carried its fifth leg on its hump, and used it to swat away flies or to scratch itself...
The curious animal was led by a young man of the Sadhu sect; the youth subsisted exclusively on the milk of this mysterious cow.
The esoteric, wondrous, and resplendent symbolism of the “Five-Legged Cow” stands out clearly and manifestly.
A vivid expression of the five emanations of our Divine Mother KUNDALINI—a very particular one...
Let us recall the sign of infinity—the figure eight laid horizontally and a five—which, read literally, yields: “Infinity equals Five”; that is, infinity equals the pentalpha, the Ineffable Five-Legged Cow, the five-pointed star or regular star-pentagon that halted MEPHISTOPHELES when he appeared in response to Doctor Faustus’s sorcerous evocation...
Defining these five aspects is essential for the well-being of each and every one of our students:
- The unmanifest KUNDALINI.
- The Ineffable ISIS, Chaste Diana. (Wisdom, Love, Power).
- The Greek HECATE, the Egyptian PROSERPINE, the Aztec COATLICUE. (The Queen of the Underworld and Death. Terror of love and Law).
- The PARTICULAR, INDIVIDUAL MOTHER NATURE. (She who created our physical body).
- The Instinctive Elemental Magician. (She who gave rise to our instincts). The “Oxherd”—the driver of the “Sacred Cow”—can and must work with the Magisterium of these five powers of the Pentalpha...
I solemnly and emphatically declare the following: I work directly with the five powers of the Sacred Cow.
To illustrate, clarify, and teach about the Pentalpha is a duty, but I prefer to do so through lived experiences:
FIRST TALE
They say there is but a step between the sublime and the ridiculous, and this is axiomatic.
Recall for a moment the Bacchanalia during the height of their orgiastic frenzy.
Female beauties positively polarized with the Dionysian Wave—nymphs of the forests and mountains pursued by lascivious Silenes...
Now behold the ridiculous Maenads, negatively polarized with the Wave of Dionysus...
Dancers unbridled in the frenzy of their sacred madness. The "hippies" of ancient Greece.
Female prostitutes aroused by drugs, in the throes of Dionysian inebriation... Human and animal sacrifices made them even more dangerous...
It was the lustful Maenads who killed Orpheus, and the wondrous lyre fell upon the temple floor, shattered to pieces...
I once recounted to my friends comic episodes from a bohemian past...
Naturally, such comedy had to include the fermented fruit of the vine and the Bacchae at the height of their orgiastic frenzy...
Ridiculous scenes from those bygone days when I wandered this world of the Kali Yuga as a fallen Bodhisattva...
Yet, there are momentous times for humanity; a cosmic reminder is often truly necessary...
Out of the physical vehicle—in the astral body, beneath Euclid’s three-dimensional realm—I had to enter the subterranean world...
What happened next was truly terrifying; what I saw there, in that horrible submerged region, was the same thing that the likes of Hoffmann, Edgar Poe, Blavatsky, and Bulwer-Lytton—of all eras—had seen before; ...much like the picture Espronceda painted for us with his demonic choruses and the poet’s anguish—with the discordant voices of those who steer the ship of life aimlessly, madly trusting in the winds of passion and the dark sea of doubt regarding virtuous action; of those fatefully wedded to destiny; of the proud who seek to raise Towers of Babel out of foolish ambitions; of liars, of those who fight for worldly glory, of those who wallow in the pleasures of the orgy, of those who covet gold, of the idle who hate fruitful, creative labor, of the wicked, the hypocrites, and all other victims of the Proteus of egoism, in short...
Claws, teeth, horns, trunks, darts, lips, tails, serrated wings, and rending coils appeared, threatening to annihilate me like the lowliest worm...
At that moment, many horrifying sounds reached my magical ears: bellowing, howling, hissing, neighing, screeching, mooing, squawking, meowing, barking, snorting, roaring, and cackling.
I found myself submerged in the mire of such wretchedness; anguish seized me; I anxiously awaited a balm to heal my aching heart...
The musings of those great seers of the astral realm—known as Alchemists, Kabbalists, Occultists, Esotericists, Yogis, Gnostics, or simply poets—were not in vain; no, they were not.
Suddenly, something extraordinary occurs beyond the murky waters of Acheron; the horrible gate leading to the Abode of Pluto turns upon its steel hinges...
Deeply moved, I shudder; I sense that something terrible has happened. I am not mistaken... I see her—it is she, the UNMANIFESTED KUNDALINI; she has crossed the threshold where lost souls dwell...
Magnificent Madonna—sublime, extraordinary, and terribly Divine—she approaches me with a majestic stride; I do not know what to do; I am confused, feeling both fear and love...
A cosmic reminder? A reproach? The adorable One speaks...
...a voice from paradise blesses me and then continues on its way, like someone heading toward the dreadful walls of the city of Dis.
Deep within my conscience, I felt at that moment as though she also wished to help others dwelling around the city of sorrow—a place we could no longer enter without righteous indignation...
Gazing from the high tower with its burning peak, Dante reportedly saw the three Infernal Furies suddenly appear; they were said to possess feminine movements and limbs...
I recalled all this instantly; I—a wretched mortal born of the earth’s mire—had no desire whatsoever to become yet another inhabitant of the city of sorrow.
Fortunately, I had the immense joy of emerging from the bowels of Avernus into the light of the sun...
ANOTHER DAY
Early in the morning, there is a knock at my door; it is an elderly high school teacher...
The good gentleman invites me to a graduation party; his daughter has successfully completed her studies...
It is impossible to decline his invitation! He is my friend, and I even owe him a few favors. I have no intention of slighting him...
After the usual personal preparations, Litelantes and I——left the house, intending to make our way to the teacher’s home.
Many elegantly dressed people greeted us warmly at the stately mansion...
Delightful music filled the room; cheerful guests moved about—here, there, and everywhere—while happy couples danced upon the plush carpet.
Several times, my splendid host approached us to offer us fermented wine...
Time and again, I saw the gleaming fine Baccarat crystal glasses up close; yet, I firmly rejected Bacchus and his orgies.
I was deeply contrite...
Undoubtedly, he became my worst enemy; he mistakenly assumed I was slighting his party...
Later, he spread various defamatory falsehoods about me; he unleashed all the venom of his criticism upon my insignificant self...
Not content with that, he resorted to public slander, accusing me in court of alleged offenses of which I remain unaware...
That particular gentleman died shortly thereafter in a tragic car accident.
Today, I reflect that at that banquet I certainly acted like a complete boor; I lacked diplomacy.
There are guests in drawing rooms the world over who know how to play with the Devil; they spend the entire night with a glass in hand, holding their own magnificently.
They pretend to drink whenever there is a new toast, yet in reality, they do not drink; they mock the Demon of alcohol.
SECOND TALE
Let us now turn to a new and very singular account, in which we shall speak neither of marvelous feasts nor of banquets in the style of Elagabalus...
How restful is the life
of him who flees the worldly din
and follows the hidden
path taken by the few
wise men the world has known!
His heart is not troubled
by the pomp of the arrogant great,
nor does he marvel at the gilded ceiling—
crafted by the wise Moor
and supported by jasper columns!...
Venus the Huntress, descending from the high peaks to aid her son Aeneas—the Trojan hero who had landed on the shores of Libya—brings unusual memories to mind...
Isis, Adonia, Tonantzin (the second aspect of my Divine Mother Kundalini) came to me swifter than the breath of the East Wind...
Her face was not that of a mortal; she possessed a beauty impossible to define in words; she seemed the sister of Phoebus Apollo...
I found myself within her loving, immaculate arms; that adorable One seemed a *Dolorosa*—like the one from the biblical Christic Gospel...
I was hungry and she fed me; thirsty, and she gave me drink; I fell ill, and she healed me. It is impossible to forget her words:
“My son, without me, you would be completely orphaned at the hour of death.”
Then she continued, saying:
“Without me, you would be utterly alone in the world.” “What would become of your life without me?”
Afterwards, I repeated: “Indeed, without you, my Mother, I would be an orphan. I fully acknowledge that without your presence, I would find myself truly alone at the hour of death.” Life turns into a desert when one has died within oneself; without the aid of our Divine Mother KUNDALINI throughout the presence of our being, we would find ourselves inwardly orphaned...
Oh adorable Mother! You have manifested Prana, electricity, force, magnetism, cohesion, and gravitation in this universe.
You are the Divine Cosmic Energy hidden within the unknown depths of every creature.
Oh Maha Saraswati! Oh Maha Lakshmi! You are the ineffable spouse of SHIVA (the Holy Spirit).
THIRD TALE
The legend of the Celestial Cow—whose milk is ambrosia, life, and immortality—is by no means without solid foundation; and we adepts—like the Divine Gautama or the Buddha who leads the Cow—work very seriously with the Mastery of the Five Aspects of DEVI-KUNDALINI.
We Gnostics take great pleasure in nourishing ourselves with the Golden Apples of Freya, which grant immortality to the Gods...
Blissfully, we drink the liquor of Soma—or the Biblical Manna—feeling as invigorated and renewed as we did in the prime of our blossoming youth...
A certain transcendental, divine cosmic event comes to mind as I write these lines.
It happened many years ago: on a full-moon night, I was transported to an extraordinary monastery of the Universal White Brotherhood...
How happy I felt in that mansion of love! Truly, there is no greater pleasure than feeling one's soul set free... in those moments, time ceases to exist, and the past and future merge into an eternal "now." Following my friends through stately chambers and galleries, we arrived at a wonderfully cool courtyard—one of which the Court of the Lions at the Alhambra was but a miniature.
It was an enchanting courtyard where, amidst flowers never before seen or heard of, several fountains murmured with waters like those of the divine Castalian Spring...
Yet the finest sight stood at the center of the courtyard, and I gazed upon it with the mystical awe of a penitent and an anchorite...
I wish to speak emphatically of the “STONE OF TRUTH.” At that time, . She then possessed a human yet divine form......
Sexual prodigy of the blessed Goddess Mother Death; a funeral marvel, spectral...
The third aspect of my Divine Mother KUNDALINI—a living stone sculpture, a tremendous representation of that which so terrifies mortals...
Without equivocation, I confess before the Divine and before humans that I embraced the terrible Goddess Death in the midst of a Dionysian inebriation...
It was essential to reconcile myself with the Law; the Brothers of the Order of Saint John had told me as much—those Venerable ones who had already realized the Hyperborean Mystery within themselves...
Once that cosmic festival had concluded, I met with certain Ladies and Knights of the Holy Grail in the Monastery refectory...
With great secrecy and enthusiasm, all the brethren discussed the extraordinary event during dinner...
Undoubtedly, the "Animated Stones" that radically altered the mindset of the sage Pausanias in ancient Arcadia can be classified into two types: *Ophites* and *Siderites*—the "Serpent-Stone" and the "Star-Stone."
Eusebius, in particular, never parted with the *Ophites* he carried close to his bosom; he received oracles from them, uttered by a tiny voice resembling a faint whistling sound...
Arnobius recounts that whenever he found one of these stones, he would invariably put a question to it, which it would answer with a clear, high-pitched little voice...
HECATE, PROSERPINA, COATLICUE—manifesting as a living, animated stone—she seemed to me as if she had sprung forth from the "Field of the Mother" or from some tomb at Carnac.
FOURTH TALE
“What the general public currently knows about Shamanism is very little, and even this small amount has been adulterated, just like the rest of the non-Christian religions.”
“It is often—and groundlessly—called ‘Mongolian paganism,’ whereas it is actually one of the most ancient religions of India: namely, the worship of the spirit and the belief in the immortality of the soul—specifically, that beyond death, souls retain the same characteristics as the men they animated here on Earth, even though their bodies have lost their objective form through death, with the man exchanging his physical form for a spiritual one.”
“This belief, in its current form, is an offshoot of primitive Theurgy and a practical fusion of the visible and invisible worlds.”
“When a foreigner naturalized in the country wishes to communicate with these invisible brethren, he must assimilate their nature; that is, he must meet these beings halfway. Then, enriched by them with an abundant supply of spiritual essence, he in turn endows them with a portion of his own physical nature, thereby enabling them to occasionally manifest in the semi-objective form they ordinarily lack.”
“Such a process is a temporary exchange of natures, commonly known as Theurgy.”
“Laypeople call Shamans ‘sorcerers’ because they are said to evoke the spirits of the dead to practice necromancy; yet true Shamanism cannot be judged by its degenerate offshoots in Siberia, just as the religion of Gautama Buddha cannot be confused with the fetishism practiced by some who claim to be his followers in Siam and Burma.” Undoubtedly, theurgic invocations become simpler and more effective when one operates magically with the physical body fully submerged within the fourth dimension.
If, by traveling inward and upward along half the path that separates us from our loved ones, we can meet our beloved dead face-to-face, it would obviously be easier to achieve this by traversing the entire path.
With the physical body immersed within the fourth coordinate, we can—like Iamblichus—invoke the Holy Gods to converse with them personally.
However, it is evident that we urgently need a fulcrum—a lever—that allows us to truly leap, physical body and all, into the fourth dimension.
It is fitting here to quote that famous phrase by Archimedes: "Give me a fulcrum, and I shall move the Universe."
In the eighth chapter of this book, we spoke emphatically about the magical agent of the "Jinas" states; I am referring specifically to the fourth aspect of DEVI-KUNDALINI. (THIS IS THE FULCRUM FOR THE FOURTH VERTICAL).
As I write these lines, certain memories come to mind—magnificent, divine evocations...
It happened that, on an autumn night, I resolved to drink the wine of meditation from the chalice of perfect concentration.
The subject of my meditation was "My Particular Mother Nature," the fourth aspect of the Igneous Serpent of our magical powers.
To pray is to converse with God, and I conversed with the Adorable One, imploring her—with the silent Word—to take me, physical body and all, to the Earthly Paradise (the Fourth Dimension). What subsequently came to pass on that night of mystery was astonishing: aided by the Ineffable One, I rose from my bed...
When I left my dwelling and stepped out into the street, I realized that my physical body had entered the fourth dimension...
She led me to the deepest forests of Eden, where the rivers of pure water of life flow with milk and honey...
Virgin Lady of wooded peaks! All falls silent before you: untamed Iberia, the Gaul who defies you with a stern look even as he dies, and the fierce Sicambrian, who—finally laying down his arms in humility—pays you homage.
My adorable Madonna, by the Gods who rule over mortals on earth from the high heavens, I forever implore your aid...
The face of Mother Nature was like that of a paradisiacal beauty, impossible to describe in human words...
Her hair resembled a cascade of gold falling delightfully upon her alabaster shoulders...
Her body was like that of the mythological Venus; Her hands, with exquisitely beautiful, tapering fingers adorned with precious gems, bore the Christic form...
In the forest, I conversed with the Adorable One, and she spoke to me of things beyond the grasp of earthly beings...
Sublime, My Mother shone in the etheric world—in the fourth vertical, in the fourth dimension...
If, then, nothing brings relief to the aching heart—neither Phrygian marble nor resplendent purple—it is best to take refuge in the delightful bosom of one's own individual Divine Mother Nature...
She is the author of our days, the true architect of our physical body...
It was she who, in the human laboratory, united the ovum and the spermatozoon so that life might emerge...
She is the creator of the germ cell with its forty-eight chromosomes...
Without her, the embryo's cells would not have multiplied, nor would the organs have formed...
Though suffering may bow your soul, stand firm, O Disciple! And humbly surrender yourself to your Mother Nature...
FIFTH TALE
“I wish to see, at the confines of the earthly abode, Oceanus and Tethys, to whom we owe our existence.”
The amours of Jupiter with the maiden IO—who was transformed into a celestial heifer, or the Sacred Cow of Eastern peoples, in order to escape the wrath of Juno—hold profound significance...
Hence, then, the first Jupiter of Greek Theogony—Father of all the Gods, Lord of the Universe, and brother of Uranus (or Ur-Anas), that is, Primordial Fire and Water—for it is known, according to classical sources, that nearly three hundred Jupiters appear in the Greek Pantheon.
In his other aspect as Jove or Iod-Eve, he is the male-female Jehovah—the collective androgynes of the Elohim of the Mosaic books, the Adam-Kadmon of the Kabbalists, and the IA-Cho (or Inachus) of Anatolia, who is also Dionysus; his vibrational wave has become very intense with the Sun’s entry into the brilliant constellation of Aquarius...
Jesus, the Great Kabir, never worshipped the anthropomorphic Jehovah of the Jewish masses...
The Law of Talion—“Eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth”—of the vengeful Jehovah was followed by the Law of Love: “Love one another as I have loved you.”
If we examine the Holy Scriptures with mystical enthusiasm, we can clearly perceive the patent and manifest fact that the anthropomorphic Hebrew Jehovah does not appear in any of the four Gospels. RAM-IO (MARY), the Divine Mother Kundalini, always accompanied the Adorable One; we see her there on the Mount of Skulls, at the foot of the cross...
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do,” exclaims the Divine Rabbi of Galilee from the majestic heights of Calvary.
Unquestionably, the blessed Lord of Perfections worshipped only his Father who is in secret and his Divine Mother Kundalini.
In other words, we shall say: The Great Kabir Jesus deeply loved IOD-HEVE, the inner Divine Male-Female...
IOD is certainly the particular, individual Monad of each person—the Shiva of Hindustan, the Arch-Hierophant and Arch-Mage, the firstborn of creation, the Golden Fleece, the treasure we must seize after conquering the Dragon of Darkness...
HEVE is the emanation of IOD, the Divine Spouse of Shiva, our individual Mother Kundalini, the Sacred Cow with five legs, the esoteric mystery of the Pentalpha.
Jupiter and his Cow IO (*iiiii OOOO*) bear an exact correspondence to IOD-HEVE, the inner Divine Couple within every creature.
We have studied four aspects of the Sacred Cow IO; let us now continue with the Fifth Mystery...
There exist transcendent and transcendental cosmic intervals on the esoteric path.
After having entered the temple of the twice-born, I had to pass through one of those intervals...
I wish to refer emphatically to a sexual hiatus—a period of abstinence that lasted several years. In the interim, I dedicated myself exclusively to deep inner meditation...
The objective: to dissolve the Psychological I—the "Me Myself" and the "Self"—which is truly a knot in cosmic energy, a tangle that we must reduce to cosmic dust.
Comprehending each of my psychological defects in their entirety seemed fundamental to me, yet I wished to go a little further along the path of meditation.
Comprehension is not everything. We have an urgent need—
...an urgent necessity to grasp the profound significance of what we have understood.
Any devotee of the true path might have had the luxury of understanding a psychological defect across all the territories of the mind, without thereby managing to apprehend its deep significance.
In attempting to understand my own defects in every nook and cranny of the mind, I resolved to become an enemy to myself.
Each defect was studied separately and in a very orderly fashion; I never made the mistake of trying to hunt ten hares at once, for I certainly did not want to expose myself to failure.
The meditation became exhaustive and increasingly profound; whenever I felt my strength flagging, I would leave the mind still and silent, as if awaiting a revelation. In those moments, the truth would arrive, and I would grasp that which is beyond time—the deep significance of the defect, understood in its entirety.
Afterwards, I would pray—supplicating and beseeching my Divine Mother Kundalini with great fervor—to eliminate that psychic aggregate, that psychological defect in question, from my mind.
Thus, little by little—using this teaching method, this *modus operandi*—I managed, during that period of sexual abstinence, to eliminate fifty percent of those subjective, infra-human elements we carry within us, which constitute the Ego, the "I."
However, it is evident that everything in life has a limit. There are scales and scales, degrees and degrees.
This work became terribly difficult when I had to confront the most ancient infra-human elements.
Unquestionably, my Divine Mother required superior weapons; I recalled the spear of Eros—the marvelous emblem of transcendental sexuality—but I was currently in a period of abstinence. What was to be done? However, a cosmic desideratum had already been given to me, and a certain categorical imperative demanded that I descend once again into the “Blazing Forge of Vulcan” (sex), yet I had not understood.
I had been transported to the mountains of mystery; I had seen the terrible forces of the Great Arcanum in action.
In vain did I struggle against the categorical imperative of the Dionysian Waves; they were truly terrifyingly divine, omnipotent...
Those supernatural powers seemed like an apocalyptic cataclysm; I felt as though such forces could shatter the Earth to pieces.
When I sought to search, investigate, and inquire into the origin of such sexual forces and powers, I found myself face to face with the Elemental Sorceress—with my Divine Mother KUNDALINI in Her Fifth Aspect.
Indeed, I had seen her looking exquisitely beautiful, the size of a gnome or a pygmy—very small...
She was clad in a white tunic and a long black cape that trailed along the ground; her head was covered by a very special magical headdress.
Beside one of the two symbolic pillars of Occult Masonry, that adorable Being had commanded me to make a new descent into the “Ninth Sphere” (Sex).
Unfortunately, I had believed it to be merely a test, and thus I persisted in disobedience; I was certainly slow to understand, and this was causing me to stagnate.
After some time spent in mortal struggles against a certain deeply infra-human psychic aggregate that violently resisted vanishing, I was forced to call upon the Spear of Longinus.
I had no other recourse. I invoked the transcendent sexual electricity; I implored my Divine Mother Kundalini during the metaphysical copulation; I anxiously begged her to wield the Spear of Eros.
The result was extraordinary. My Sacred Mother, armed...
Then, with the Holy Pike, with the Divine Spear, and with the electric-sexual power, I was able to reduce to cosmic dust the horrifying monster—the psychic aggregate that I had tried in vain to dissolve apart from chemical coitus.
That is how I ended my sexual hiatus and returned to the “Forge of the Cyclopes.” By working with the Holy Spear, I managed to reduce to cosmic dust all the infrahuman elements that constitute the “I.”
The Fifth Aspect of DEVI KUNDALINI grants us sexual potency, natural instinctive force, etc., etc., etc.
