Democrats in the US partnered with pharma companies and foundations led by George Soros and Bill Gates to set up bioresearch in Ukraine, using the project to generate additional funding for elections, the Russian military claimed on Wednesday in its latest biolab briefing.
“It needs to be said that the ideologues of US military biological research in Ukraine are leaders of the Democratic Party,” said Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force, as reported by Russia Today.
According to RT, the US government set up a way to fund the military bio-research directly from the federal budget, but also used government guarantees to raise funds from “non-governmental organizations controlled by the leadership of the Democratic Party,” Kirillov said.
These organizations include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Clinton Foundation, George Soros’s Open Society and investment funds, the Rockefeller Foundation, the EcoHealth Alliance, and Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Partners, Kirillov claimed.
The Russian Defense Ministry spox also named Pfizer, Moderna, Merck and Gilead as involved in this scheme, “using it to test medications while bypassing international safety standards”, according to RT. In return, Big Pharma donates to the Democratic Party, Kirillov claimed.

Germany and Poland have also conducted bioresearch in Ukraine, Kirillov asserted: “Not only the US, but also a number of their NATO allies are carrying out military biological projects on the territory of Ukraine. The German leadership launched its national biosafety program independent of Washington back in 2013. Some 12 countries, including Ukraine, are involved in the program.”
The effort involves such leading German scientific institutions as the Robert Koch Institute and the Institute of Microbiology of the German Armed Forces, Kirillov said, according to Russia Today. Poland has been funding the National Medical University in Ukraine’s western city of Lvov, RT quoted Kirillov, claiming the Polish Institute of Veterinary Medicine has been involved “in studies of epidemiological threats and the spread of the rabies virus in Ukraine. These studies have been carried out with the American Battelle Institute – one of the key contractors of the Pentagon.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense identified several Americans involved in US bioresearch in Ukraine in April, as Gateway Pundit reported, and claimed that Kiev was researching ways to deliver bioweapons via US drones. Documents found on Hunter Biden’s laptop seem to indicate the President’s son was involved in funding bioresearch in Ukraine as well.
The USA spent more than $224 million on biological programs in Ukraine between 2005 and early 2022, the head of Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin told RT.
