Q: Was the Urantia book given by ascended masters?

Kim: It has been answered before but I’m not sure it is on the website, so okay. Mother Mary will answer.

A: No my beloved, it was not given by the ascended masters. It came from some beings in the mental realm, who although they do not have ill intentions, are still deceiving people because they are making it seem as if this is a higher truth and sponsored from a higher realm. But it is an example of how beings in the mental realm, can create very, very elaborate constructions, very elaborate theories and teachings where they come up with very complex ideas, they can create seemingly new worlds. You will for example, see that many of the fantasy books that have become popular in later years, actually originate in the mental realm by certain beings who have, again they do not have ill intentions in terms of destroying people or manipulating or controlling people. But they do have the intention of getting energy from people, by causing people to put their attention on these very elaborate constructions that take people away from focusing on the situation they are facing in the material world. It becomes a form of spiritual escapism, where many people because they find it difficult to deal with their physical situation and their karma, they escape into this fantasy world by thinking that there is some ideal society that is waiting to be manifest. Or there is some greater plan and because they are among the few people who know this, they do not have to look at themselves in the mirror, they do not have to make these decisions, they just have to follow that teaching and then somehow magically they will be saved after this lifetime. And so this is a form of deceit that is not directly malicious as some of the other theories you find out there that are more dualistic and epic in nature. But it is still a form of deceit that has caused many well meaning people to go into a blind alley, that can keep them there often for a lifetime because they keep studying these mental teachings and they keep  coming up with more and more theories and layers. They feel that they are very advanced students because they understand all of this mentally, but in reality they have not really moved forward on the path because they have not shifted their consciousness upwards.

Q. What is the original source of Kabbalism? Judaism was it from the ascended masters.

A. (Mother Mary) The original Kabbalistic teachings were inspired from the ascended masters. But the beings who received them, the people who received them were not quite able to receive it in the highest form possible. This means that there is more to the Kabbalistic teachings that has been released or that was released in the beginning. But it does not mean that the Kabbalistic teachings are not valuable, they are valid teachings that can be used. But as with every other teaching it is a question of first of all, can people maintain a contact to the source of the teaching and therefore receive new teachings or new directions. Or will they go into creating an overlay to the original teachings that comes from the human level. And so this has to a large degree happened with the Kabbalistic teachings as it happens with Judaism in general and with every other religion on earth.
