If i do the math and you do the kiss, still from a deeper level, we can be doing the same thing!!
Now modern math, with set theory and group theory is very interesting. It has made it quite hard just to define what math is. Even mathematicians at first refused to accept set theory, claiming that it is not maths!
So you might think that by doing a certain activity, you are not doing math when, according to modern math, you are infact doing math! Lets for instance take the case of rotating a book on the table. There is a strange corespondence between rotation and multiplication. Then a given state of the book corresponds to a number. We can, for instance, say that a book facing north corresponds to 2. Then a book facing south coresponds to 8 etc. A clockwise rotation corresponds to a multiplication by 4 etc. Anticlockwise rotation corresponds to division by 4 etc. So the activities of moving around, rotation etc is, from a deeper perspective, the same as multiplication, addition etc. The set of states in which objects can be found forms what is called a group.
With this understanding of math, numbers become a special case of what is termed 'set'. Then what we tend to understand as math (dealing with numbers) is just a special case of a more general and deeper field termed set theory.
Kiss, Kiss, Kiss......I will do the kissing and you can do the math....lol
