KINDNESS is selfish and sensible!

The most powerful thing you can do for yourself is to embrace an intention to be kind. Kindness is very much to your advantage.

The most immediate advantage in acts of kindness is that the target of your kindness will feel happier. The opportunity for you is that you are what you surround yourself with. When there’s happiness afoot it washes over you too.

Furthermore kindness is contagious; it naturally gathers its own momentum. Each act of kindness inspires another which in turn infects others in endless waves of effect. Kindness is a revolutionary action whose power is uplifting your world. Sooner than later, what goes around does come around!

Another personal advantage you’ll find when kindness becomes you is better physical health. More than merely feeling nice, your acts of kindness are proven to facilitate improvements in a range of crucial health indicators. Unsurprisingly kindness directly affects the health of your heart!

Kindness is also about the best thing you can do for your mental health. You probably don’t need research psychologists to prove that being kind makes you feel happy; and yet they have repeatedly. Research has proven you do get what you give and like a boomerang, kindness’s sense of wellbeing always returns home.

Kindness is also a crucial component in your healthy relationships. Kindness invites understanding over judgement. It widens your wisdom and in turn, as Buddha said with elegant simple clarity,” Loving kindness will make others love you”.

Kindness can include acts of financial charity but remember the best things in life are free. The happiness derived from a sincere compliment for instance is priceless. Kindness freely invested makes everyone wealthy.

It’s true that as you give so will you receive so in saving one person you do save yourself. As such kindness is a sensible self-supporting strategy.

Every moment includes an opportunity to choose the wealth in kindness. I trust you will choose well.

SO BE NICE :)

ENJOY

  • @andy/mayir....the title is intended to spark interest/curiousity by deconstructing the meaning of selfish :)

i dont give myself away in kindness rather i build myself as i build my beloved other same selves.

spose its a bit cheeky but i do find these types of titles get more reads than if they had less bounce

    enjoy
