No matter what happens
I will always believe in love.
If I seem happy it is because
I remember love exists.
If I seem angry it is because
I see love not being honored.
If I fall into shadows it is only
retreat into my own heart.
My sorrow is not a lack of believing,
but lack of seeing love shared.
No matter what I express or do not,
know that I still believe in love.
