BASIC ASTROLOGY ANALYSIS OF INDIVIDUALS: the Moon's position on the natal horoscope (relative to the Sun) and interpretations for impact with the public and/or women, past crisis, and private affairs.

No conclusion is provided; this is research I am presenting to my astrology group. Forty horoscopes were investigated with this study concerning the lunar position relative to the Sun. The eight positions of the Moon looked at in this study include New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent. The Moon's position on one's horoscope (relative to the Sun) can take on many meanings. The key areas that seem to pop up include: (a) impact or types of interaction with the public (b) interactions (open and secretive) with women (c) private crisis (which may involve the family, women, or one's past actions) (d) potential for the protection of one's affairs or activities defined as private to the individual and (e) potential for the exposure of such affairs or activities that one defines as private. The forty horoscopes looked at (and the eight Moon positions relative to the Sun on these horoscopes) are displayed below.

The meanings of these eight placements (or phases) of the Moon are defined below:

Other Factors Observed

I have also noticed that hard aspects (i.e. Conjunction, Square, and Opposition) that concern the natal Moon and the natal planets (excluding the luminary Sun) on the individual horoscope can affect ones' relationships with others and create interaction issues (or reveal crisis experienced from earlier years) that concern the family, women, the public at large, and protection of private affairs and/or private activities with others. Eclipses (both solar and lunar) between the Sun and Moon can be very profound in defining crisis based on activities with the public; eclipses may define intense (or "hot") actions or activities that concern one's involvement with the public, women, the family, and the ability to protect private activities or affairs (good or bad). The zodiac sign placement of the Moon appears to add a "zodiac flavor" (based on the zodiac sign) to describe one's secretive or private personality (as opposed to one's public personality, which is ruled by the Sun. This is why zodiac-based Sun sign interpretations  are usually easy and accurate to use in defining the personality of an individual; the "Sun sign" personality is the personality seen only by the public. This is opposed to the personality seen only by family members [or those who are close and "like family"] which is usually described by the Moon and its zodiac placement).

Thanks for reading.

Love to all,

Malcolm
