XXVII

THE PUBLICAN AND THE PHARISEE

Reflecting a bit about the various circumstances of life, well worth seriously comprehend the basis upon which we rest.

One person rests upon his position, another on money, that on the prestige, the other about his past, this one about this or that title, etc., etc., etc.

The strange thing is that everyone, whether rich or mendicant, need each other and live in all, although we are inflated with pride and vanity.

Consider for a moment what they can take away. What would be our fate in a revolution of blood and liquor?, What would be the basis on which rested ?, Woe to us, we believe very strong and we are frightfully weak!

The "I" that feels itself the basis on which we rest must be dissolved if they really crave authentic bliss.

Such "I" underestimates people, feels better than everyone, more perfect in everything, richer, smarter, more experienced in life, etc.

It is very appropriate to cite now that parable of Jesus the Great KABIR, about the two men who prayed. It was said to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others.

The beloved Master Jesus Christ said: "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other Publican The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself: 'God, I thank thee that I am not like other men, thieves., unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican fast twice a week, I give tithes of all that I possess. The publican, did not want to look up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast saying: ". God be merciful to me a sinner "I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. Because everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." (LUCAS XVIII, 10-14)

Begin to realize the own nothingness in which we find ourselves is absolutely impossible as there is in us that concept of "More". Examples: I am more righteous than that, more wise than that guy, more virtuous than so and so, more rich, more expert in the things of life, more chaste, more dutiful of their duties, etc., etc., etc.

It is not possible to pass through the eye of a needle while we are "rich" while there is such a complex of "More" in us.

"It is easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than to enter a rich in the kingdom of God."

So that your school is the best and that my neighbor does not serve; So that your religion is the only true, the wife of so and so is a terrible a bad wife and that mine is a saint; That my friend Robert is a drunk and I'm a very judicious and abstemious man, etc., etc., etc., it is what makes us feel rich; why we are all "CAMELS" of the biblical parable in relation to the esoteric work.

It is urgent to self-observe ourselves from moment to moment with the purpose of clearly knowing the foundations on which it rests.

When you discover what most offends you at a given moment; the trouble that was given for this or that; then discover the foundations on which it rests psychologically.

Such bases are according to the Christian Gospel "the sands upon which he built his house."

It is necessary to note carefully how and when despised others feeling superior perhaps because the title or social position or experience or money, etc., etc., etc.

Grave is to feel one rich guy or superior to so and so for this or that reason. Such people cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

It is good to discover that in which one feels flattered in which his vanity is satisfied, this will come to show us the foundations on which we rely.

However, such kind of observation should not be merely theoretical question, we must be practical and carefully self-observe directly, from moment to moment.

When one begins to understand his own nothingness; when he abandons the delusions of grandeur; when he discovers the foolishness of so many titles, honors and vain superiorities over our fellowmen, it is an unmistakable sign that is beginning to change.

One cannot change if it closes at that saying, "My house". "My money". "My Properties". "My job." "My virtues." "My intellectual capabilities." "My artistic abilities". "My knowledge." "My prestige" etc., etc., etc.

That to clinging to the "mine" to "Me" is more than enough to prevent us from recognizing our own nothingness and inner misery.

One is astonished at the sight of a fire or a shipwreck; then the desperate people often seize many things that make you laugh; unimportant things.

Poor people!, They feel in those things, they rest on nonsense, they cling in what does not matter.

Feeling themselves through external things, build on them, is to be in a state of absolute unconsciousness.

The feeling of "DEITY" (The BEING REAL), is only possible by dissolving all those "I's" that we carry within; before, this such feeling is something more than impossible.

Unfortunately the worshipers of the "I" do not accept this; they believe to be Gods; They think they already possess these "glorious bodies" that Paul of Tarsus spoke; assume that the "I" is divine and no one can take away such absurdities from their  head.

You do not know what to do with such people, it is explained and do not understand; always clinging to the sands on which they built their house; always stuck in their dogmas, their whims, their follies.

If these people would seriously self-observe, would verify for themselves the doctrine of the many; discover within themselves all the multiplicity of persons or "egos" living within our interior.

How could exist in us the real feeling of our true BEING, when those "I's" are feeling for us, thinking for us?

The worst of all this tragedy is that you think you are thinking, feeling you are feeling, when in fact it is another who at one point thinking with our tormented brain and feel our painful heart.

Many times we believe we are loving and what happens is that another within themselves full of lust uses the center of the heart.

We confuse animal passion with love!, and yet another within themselves, within our personality, who goes through such confusions.

We all thought it would never pronounce those words of the Pharisee in the biblical parable: "God, I thank thee that I am not like other men", etc., etc., etc.

However, incredibly, so we proceed daily. The meat vendor in the market says: "I am not like other butchers who sell poor quality meat and exploit people."

The seller of fabrics in the store exclaims: "I am not like other merchants who can steal when measuring and who have enriched themselves".

The milkman says: "I am not like other milk vendors that put water to it I like being honored.".

Mrs. House said on a visit, the following: "I'm not like hooker who walks with other men, I thank God and decent person faithful to my husband."

Conclusion: The others are evil, unjust, adulterers, thieves and perverse and each of us a meek sheep, good to have it as a golden boy in some church.

How foolish we are often !, we never do all that nonsense and perversities that we do to others and for this reason we conclude that we are magnificent people, unfortunately we do not see the nonsense and meanness we do.

There are rare moments in life when the mind without worries of any kind rests. When the mind is quiet, when the mind is in silence then there comes the new.

In such moments it is possible to see the bases, the foundations on which we rest.

Being the mind in deep ulterior rest, we can verify for themselves the stark reality of the sand of life, upon which we build the house. (See Matthew 7 - verses 24-25-26-27-28-29; parable about the two foundations).

XXVIII

  THE WILL

The "Great Work" is, above all, the creation of man by himself, based of confidants work and voluntary sufferings.

The "Great Work" is the inner conquest of themselves, of our true freedom in God.

Need with maximum, unavoidable urgency, to disintegrate all those "I's " that live within us if we really want the perfect emancipation of the Will.

Nicolas Flamel and Raymond Lully, both poor, liberated their will and made innumerable psychological prodigies that amaze.

Agrippa never got more than the first part of the "Great Work" and died painfully struggling in the disintegration of his "egos" for the purpose of possessing himself and fix his independence.

The perfect emancipation of the will assures the sage absolute dominion over the Fire, Air, Water and Earth.

Many students of contemporary psychology will seem exaggerated what we affirm lines above in relation to the sovereign power of will emancipated; nevertheless the Bible tells us wonders about Moses.

According to Philo, Moses was an Initiate in the land of the Pharaohs on the Nile, Priest of Osiris, Pharaoh 's cousin, educated among the columns of ISIS, the Divine Mother , and OSIRIS our Father who is in secret.

Moses was a descendant of the Patriarch Abraham, the great Chaldean Magus, and the very respectable Isaac.

Moses the man who freed the electric power of the will, has the gift of prodigies; this is known by divine and human. Thus it is written.

All that the Scriptures say about this Hebrew leader is certainly extraordinary, portentous.

Moses transformed his staff into a serpent, transforms one of his hands into the hand of a leper, then life returns.

The proof of the burning bush that has made clear its power, people understand, kneels, and prostrates.

Moses uses a Magic Wand, emblem of royal power, the priestly power of the Initiate in the Great Mysteries of Life and Death.

Before the Pharaoh, Moses changes in blood the Nile into water, the fish die, the sacred river is infected, the Egyptians could not drink it, and shed blood Nile irrigations through the fields.

Moses does more; makes appears millions of frogs disproportionate, gigantic, monstrous, leaving the river and invade the houses appear. Then, under his gesture, an indicator of a free and sovereign will, those horrible frogs disappear.

More like the Pharaoh did not free the Israelites. Moses work new wonders: covers the land of dirt, raises clouds of disgusting and filthy flies, which then has the luxury to push away.

Unleashes the dreadful plague, and all herds except Jews die.

Grabbing soot the holy-Scripture says throws to the air and fell upon the Egyptians, causing them pustules and ulcers.

Extending his famous magic rod, Moses does rain a hail from heaven as unforgiving destroys and kills. Then pop the flaming lightning, thunder rumbles and rain hideously frightening, then gestured calm returns.

But Pharaoh still inflexible. Moses, with a tremendous blow of his magic rod, as if by magic raises locust swarms, then come darkness. Another blow with the rod and everything returns to the original order.

Well known is the end of all that Biblical drama of the Old Testament Jehovah spoke, slays all the firstborn of the Egyptians and Pharaoh he has no choice but to let the Hebrews go.

Moses then uses his magic rod to cleave the waters of the Red Sea and cross them dry foot.

When the Egyptians warriors precipitated out there chasing the Israelites, Moses with a gesture, it makes the waters close again, swallowing the persecutors.

Unquestionably , many pseudo occultists reading all this, would do the same, to have the same powers of Moses, however this is more than impossible as the Will continues to be bottled between each and every one of those "egos" that in the different depths of our psyche we charge.

The Essence inlay between the "Myself" is the Genie of Aladdin's lamp, yearning for freedom ... Free such genius, can perform miracles.

The Essence is "Will-Consciousness" unfortunately processed under its own conditioning.

When the will is released, then is mixed or merged and integrating with the Universal Will, becoming by this sovereign.

The Individual Will fused with the Universal Will can perform all the miracles of Moses.

There are three kinds of events: A) Those corresponding to the Law of accidents. B) Those who belong to the Law of Recurrence, events always repeated in each existence. C) Actions intentionally determined by the Conscious Will.

Unquestionably, only people who have liberated their Will through the death of the "Myself", will perform new acts born from their free will.

Ordinary acts of humanity, are always the result of the Law of Recurrence or the mere product of mechanical accidents.

Who has free will of truth, can originate new circumstances; who has his Will bottled among the "pluralized ego" is a victim of circumstances.

There is a wonderful display of High Magic, Clairvoyance, Prophecy, Prodigies, Transfiguration, Resurrection of the dead in all the Biblical pages, by insufflation or laying on of hands or gaze upon the birth of the nose, etc., etc. , etc.

Abounds in the Bible massage, holy oil, magnetic passes, the application of a little saliva on the sick part, reading the thoughts of others, transport, apparitions, the words coming from heaven, etc., etc. , etc., true marvels of the Conscious Will liberated, emancipated sovereign.

Sorcerers?  warlocks?, Black Magicians ?, abound like weeds; however these are not Saints nor Prophets, nor adepts of the White Brotherhood.

No one could reach the "Real Illumination" nor exercise absolute Priesthood of the Will-Aware, if previously had not died radically in himself here and now.

Many people write us frequently complaining of not possessing illumination, asking for powers, demanding clues that convert them into Magicians, etc., etc., etc., however are never interested in self-observation, by self-knowledge, by disintegrating those psychic aggregates , those "I 's " within which is trapped the will , the Essence.

People like that, they are obviously doomed to failure. They are people who covet the faculties of the Saints, but in no way are willing to die in themselves.

Eliminate errors is something magical, wonderful in itself, which implies rigorous psychological self-observation.

To Exercise powers is possible when is set free radically the marvelous power of the Will.

Unfortunately as people have the will bottled up within each "I" obviously that is divided into multiple wills that process each under its own conditioning.

It is clear to understand that every "I" possesses by such cause its unconscious particular will.

The innumerable wills engrossed between the "egos" bump into each other frequently, making us for such reason impotent, weak, victims of circumstances, incapable.

 XXIX

   DECAPITATION

As you work on itself is becoming more and more understanding, the need to radically eliminate from within nature, all that makes us so ugly.

The worst circumstances of life the most critical situations, the most difficult facts, are always marvelous for intimate self-discovery.

In those unexpected moments, critics, always emerge and when we least expect it, the more I's secrets; if we are alert us unquestioningly discovered.

The quieter times of life are precisely the least favorable for work on itself.

There are moments in life too complicated when one has marked tendency to easily identify with events and completely forget themselves; in those moments does one silly things which lead nowhere; if you were alert, if at that very moment instead of losing his head, he would remember himself with some astonishment discovered Selves of which never had even the slightest suspicion of their possible existence.

The sense of intimate self-observation, is atrophied in every human being; working seriously, observing oneself from moment to moment; such sense will be developed progressively.

As the sense of self-observation continue its development through continued use, we'll increasingly able to perceive more directly on those Selves which we never had any date related with their existence.

Before the sense of intimate self-observation each of the Selves that live within us, actually they assume this or that figure secretly related to the personified defect by it. Indubitably the image of each of these Selves has a certain unmistakable psychological flavor through which we apprehend, capture, instinctively caught his intimate nature, and the defect that characterizes him.

At the beginning the esoteric does not know where to start, given the need to work on himself but is completely disoriented.

Taking advantage of the critical moments, most unpleasant situations, most adverse moments, if we are alert discover our outstanding defects, Selves which we must urgently disintegrate.

Sometimes it can be started by anger or self-love, or the wretched second of lust, etc., etc., etc.

It is necessary to take note especially in our daily psychological states, if we truly want a definite change.

Before going to bed we should examine the events of the day, the embarrassing situations, the thunderous laughter of Aristophanes and the subtle smile of Socrates.

We may have hurt someone with a laugh, we may have sickened someone with a smile or a look out of place.

Recall that in pure esotericism good is all that is in place, bad is all that is out of place.

The water in place is good but if it will flood the house would be out of place, cause damage, serious bad and harmful.

The fire in the kitchen and in its place, besides being useful is good; out of place burning the furniture of the room, it would be bad and harmful.

Any holy virtue that is, in place is good, misplaced is bad and harmful. With the virtues we can harm others. It is indispensable to place virtues in their corresponding place.

What would you say about a priest who was preaching the word of the Lord inside a brothel?. What would you say about a meek male and tolerant male blessing a gang of robbers who attempted to rape the wife and daughters?. What would you say about that kind of tolerance taken to excess?. What would you think about the charitable attitude of a man who instead of taking food home, bestow the money among mendicants of vice?. What would you say about the helpful man at a given time lend a dagger to a murderer?.

Remember dear reader that among the cadences of verse crime also hides. There is much virtue in the wicked and much evil in the virtuous.

Although it seems incredibly within the same perfume of prayer the crime also hides.

The crime disguise as a saint, uses the best virtues, it is presented as a martyr and even officiates in the sacred temples.

As the sense of intimate self-observation develops in us through continuous use, you'll see, all those Selves which serve as a basic foundation to our individual temperament, whether the latter, blood or nervous, phlegmatic or bilious.

Although you may not believe, dear reader, behind the temperament that we possess hides among the most remote depths of our psyche, the most abominable diabolic creations.

See such creations, to observe these monstrosities of hell within which is bottled our very consciousness, it becomes possible with the ever progressive development of the sense of intimate self-observation.

As long as a man has not dissolved these creations of hell, these aberrations of himself, undoubtedly deep down, will, continue to be something that should not exist, a deformity, an abomination.

Most serious of all is that the abominable does not realize its own abomination, it is believed beautiful, fair, good person, and even complains about the misunderstanding of others, laments the ingratitude of his fellow men, says they do not understand him, they cry affirming that they owe, who have paid with black coin, etc., etc., etc.

The sense of intimate self-observation allows us to verify for themselves and directly the secret work by which time we are given dissolving this or that Ego (this or that psychological defect), possibly discovered in difficult conditions and when we least we suspected.

Have you thought you ever in life what you most like or dislike?. You, have reflected on the secret springs of action? Why do you want to have a beautiful house?. Why do you wish to have a late-model car? Why do you want to always be the latest fashion?. Why you covet not to be greedy? What most offended you at a given moment?. What flattered you the most yesterday?. Why did you feel superior to so or so and so person, at a certain moment?. At What time did you feel superior to someone?. Why do you conceited when you relate your triumphs?. Do not be silent when gossiped about other known person?. Did you receive the glass of liquor by courtesy?. Did you accept smoking maybe not having the vice, possibly because the concept of education or manliness?. Are you sure have been sincere you certain in that conversation?. And when you justify yourself, and when you boast, and when you have count your triumph and you relate repeating what to others said before, do you understand that  that you were vain ?.

The sense of intimate self-observation, besides allowing you to see clearly the ego that you are dissolving, will also allow you to see the pathetic and defined results of your inner work.

In principle these creations of hell, these psychic aberrations that unfortunately characterize you are more ugly and monstrous than the most horrendous beasts that exist in the bottom of the sea or in the deepest jungles of the earth; as you advance in your work you can show through the sense of inner self-observation the outstanding fact that those abominations are losing volume, they are dwindling...

It is interesting to know that such bestiality as decrease in size, as they lose volume and become smaller, they gain in beauty, slowly assume the infantile figure; finally they disintegrate, become cosmic dust, then the Essence bottled up , is released, emancipated, wake up.

Undoubtedly, the mind cannot fundamentally alter any psychological defect; obviously understanding can afford to label a defect with this or that name, justifying it, moving it from one level to another, etc., but could not by itself annihilate it, disintegrate it.

We urgently need a superior to mind fiery power, a power that is capable by itself of this or that reduce psychological defect to a mere cosmic dust.

Fortunately there is in us that serpentine power, that marvelous fire that the ancient medieval alchemists baptized with the mysterious name of Stella Maris, the Virgin of the Sea, the Azoth of the Science of Hermes, Tonantzin of Aztec Mexican, that derivation of our own Intimate Being, our particular Mother God within always symbolized with the sacred serpent of the Great Mysteries.

If after having observed and deeply understood this or that psychological defect (this or that Self), we beg our particular Cosmic Mother, since each of us has his own, disintegrate, reduce to cosmic dust this or that defect, that ego, reason for our inner work, you can be sure that it will lose volume and slowly will go pulverizing.

All this naturally implies successive deep works, always continuous, because no I, can ever be disintegrated instantly. The sense of intimate self-observation can see the progressive advance of the work related to the abomination that interests us truly disintegrate.

Stella Maris although it seems incredibly is the astral signature of the human sexual potency.

Obviously, Stella Maris has the effective power to disintegrate the aberrations that we carry in our psychological inside.

The beheading of John the Baptist is something that invites us to reflection, would not be possible any radical psychological change if before we did not go through decapitation.

Our own derivative Being, Tonantzin, Stella Maris as electric power unknown to mankind and that is latent in the very depths of our psyche, ostensibly enjoys the power that allows to behead any I before the final disintegration.

Stella Maris is that philosophical fire that is latent in all organic and inorganic matter.

Psychological impulses can cause intensive action of such fire and then decapitation becomes possible.

Some egos usually are decapitated at the beginning of the psychological work, others in the middle and the last in the end. Stella Maris as a sexual igneous potency has full aware of the work to be performed and performs the decapitation at the right time at the right moment.

While it has not produced the disintegration of all these psychological abominations, of all these lewdness, all these curses, theft, envy, secret or manifest adultery, ambition for money or psychic powers, etc., even if we believe we are honorable people, dutiful word, sincere, courteous, charitable, beautiful inside, so obviously we will not be more than whitened, beautiful tombs on the outside but inside full of nauseating rot.

Bookish scholarship, pseudo-wisdom, complete information on the sacred writings, be they from east or west ,, north or south, pseudo-occultism, the pseudo-esotericism, the absolute certainty of being well documented , the intransigent sectarianism with full conviction, etc., it is useless because it really only exists in the background that we ignore, creations of hell, curses, monstrosities that hide behind the pretty face, behind the venerable face, under the holy garments the sacred leader, etc.

We must be honest with ourselves, ask what we want, if we come to the Gnostic teaching out of curiosity, if he really is not going through the decapitation what we are wanting, then we are fooling themselves, we are defending our own rottenness, we are proceeding hypocritically.

In the most venerable schools of esoteric wisdom and of occultism there are many sincere but mistaken people who truly want self-made but that are not dedicated to the disintegration of their interior abominations.

There are many people who assume that through good intentions it is possible to reach sanctification. Obviously while not work intensely on those Selves that we carry within ourselves, they will continue to exist under the bottom of the pious look and good behavior.

Time has come you to know that mostly are evil disguised in the robes of holiness; sheep in wolf's clothing; cannibals dressed in knight costume; executioners hidden behind the sacred sign of the cross, etc.

However majestic we appear inside our temples or inside our classrooms of light and harmony, however calm and sweet to see us our fellows, however reverend and humble us look at the bottom of our psyche still exist all abominations of hell and all the monstrosities of war.

Revolutionary Psychology becomes evident the need for a radical transformation and this is only possible by declaring themselves a war to the death, ruthless.

Fortunately John the Baptist taught us the secret way: DYING IN THEMSELVES THROUGH THE PSYCHOLOGICAL decapitation.
