Reality vs What we think about Reality

Your natural state is prior to concepts. As long as the positive identity of oneself is not absolutely clear, there will be continued attempts to define oneself at a conceptual level. Not finding any “I” is not the same as knowing what you are. Even having an insight such as “I am awareness” is not really enough, as it is apt to remain conceptual and become the basis of another belief system. That is not the final understanding. It is not non-conceptual reality. Thinking “I am awareness” can easily become a new identification for the “I” reference point. This is seen in the case of those claiming to “be awareness” yet who exhibit all types of self-centered concepts, motivations, and actions. The means to cut through the mind’s doubts is not to track into the mind and its variable experiences, but to discover that which is not susceptible to the mind’s activities. Your true nature is not present at the level of the mind, or even consciousness, and is not affected by concepts and experiences. So considering this (what you are) takes you straight out of the doubts and the influence of the mind altogether. That is why there is no answer in the mind. Beyond the mind and consciousness, at the level of one’s genuine being, there are no doubts or questions to address. The mind is a phenomenon whose existence is based on something else. We are interested in the “something else”, not the mind or its projections. Beyond the mind is the knower of the mind. Beyond the knower is reality itself.John Wheeler

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”Buddha quotes (Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C.)

body, Mind Personaliy Quotes.

You Are That Which Is, Was, and Shall Be, devoid of body or mind or personality when unmanifested and capable, via Full Realization, of being free of body identification and a corrupted “mind” and personas while manifested. You are invited to see how all desire and longing and fear can be transcended when you no longer embrace the limited identity of a physical body or the corrupted “mind” or any fictional personality. If you would Realize, then you must understand how this body came to be and where You were during the days prior to conception. Even more significantly, find what You Are when nothing is because That Which You Truly Are NOW is what You Will Truly Be “then.”-Floyd Henderson

Psychedelics

I heard of a person who started consuming daily mild psychedelics and his life changed. Everything began going right for him. Every thought, word and deed. His whole life was nothing but positive. What is this all about? Can dxm, dma, etc, really change someone's life for the better? Any thoughts? Peace, love and light.

The Healing Properties of Nature

I'm not here to say that anyone "needed" the outdoors... The natural (nature) environment in order to meditate (or just downright find healing properties) but I have found that living in such conditions does contain healing properties that I could not find in the noisy going... Doing...zooming of the city environment. For me, if find when in nature there is the sound of silence, which in return produces a calmer body / mind. Does anyone else have experience with living and experiencing nature in its raw form and what benefits have you found?,

The Stance of the Witness... The Observer

Many shifts occur on the path to what we can call ascension or enlightenment or realization etc. many of these shifts are quite painful and as well, most of the shifts are mental / emotional. I can so easily label what feels satisfying as "good" and what feel dissatisfying as "bad" but in reality these are just labels... Conditioned responses upon form... Upon the manifested consciousness with shape and in reality there is neither good nor bad, just what is. To take the stance of the witness... The observer of these labels of "good" and "bad" can bring much relief and tranquility to what would otherwise bring much unneeded suffering and misery. When thoughts, feelings, sensations etc arise, instead of becoming intoxicated on all levels through becoming at one with these inevitable comings and goings ( that always do pass) we can take a step back per se and just observe from a position of neutrality. This is the I Amnesss... The consciousness in its natural state. As well, when other have an option about us and their views on what's "right" / "wrong," "good" / "bad" in their eyes about us, we can see these judgements as judgements, take a step back and simply observe. What others say or do is a reflection of their world... Of their lack of information... Of light in any particular situation. Here, there is no blame, just the relative world at play.

Seeking

I took on tradition after tradition after tradition... Philosophies etc of all types. I am left now simply with I AM and a few other things. Was all the seeking that left me dissatisfied for nil? Did I waste much "time" for 13 years? Or what was the point?
