Preamble to the U.S. Declaration of Independence, 1776
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Friends and family, I'm curious to all your thoughts on this the preamble of our country's Declaration of Independence.... Written back when we were just starting fighting to escape to a better way of life... We were youno starting from scratch but we fought for died for our freedom our rights to live as we choose. Blood and tears were shed for this document, it was our foundation We loved it we lived by it we died by it and we became a great nation, and unfortunately drove a proud a noble spiritual people from their very home all for the sake of our rights and freedoms.... All this to flash forward over 200 hundred and some odd years to start falling to slowly have all our rights once again slowly to be taken away while we lay sleeping in a sugar coated dreamland.... So, my friends and family, as I am curious so many of you are not in our country i am curious as to what you think of this preamble and what is going on today.... Thank you much love and light |
