I usually don't read the newspaper but I had to grab yesterday's after I
saw the headline. What's been happening out here in the NT here for a while
is that our government down in Canberra wants to make us a dump site for
radioactive nuclear waste.
The last time this was brought up our representatives for our Territory sucessfully
fought off the proposal, however we've since had a re-election and our current Territory
government is run by people who only have interest in the issues that will benefit themselves
in way. The part of the debate over the nuke waste site is the area.
Our aboriginals here live in 3rd world conditions, uneducated, poor, and abuse, violence
rape and pornography rules their communties. Because of this, the government recognises
that they're easily bribed into giving up their land with the promise of money. In this case,
Muckaty station was giving over for the price of 12 million. The site wasn't even chosen
on scientific grounds, it was just an easy deal for them.
I suppose it isn't surprising in this case to find out that our friends from above would like
to have some say in this. I'm guessing they probably won't stop stalking the new station
manager for a while.

Nuclear blasts not only affect this planet, they affect outer space as well......plus it destroys Soul essence....so lets be thankful we have some wise ones protecting us to the degree we allow it.
