@Feather,..I got this friend on FB and he/ she is always pasting my board with islamic banners..so when we talk he/she specifically tells me that they are SLAVES. Symbolicaly and literally. I told her/him that I have already been a slave and its no fun! I much rather the view point that Jesus held of me as a Liberated Son of God. ie..FREE SPIRIT!..still there's no love lost between us. They can be slaves all they like!
@Feather Winger,..I understand, I have some friends that converted to muslim, I respect them. I have met many nice muslims, just dont get into a convo about religion then it turns sour quickly. I Love Farrakhan!!..he is the kind of muslim I like to listen too.
Well they claim Jesus was just an ordinary prophet...When Jesus said he was the way the truth and the life.
They claim "ALLAH" has no son. Yet Jesus said this is excatly who he was. Son of God and Man
Jesus said all men are sons and daughters, but if you tell that to a muslim they think you are crazy becase they beleive they are slaves, Jesus never said that we were slaves to "God".
I dont know about the Q'uran being violent, I just feel that the followers of it are. They live by a very strict code of conduct and punishment.
@Feather Winger...LOL..If you do anything "wrong" in that religion it is met with violence. Heads and arms and other things just chopped right off. Then if somebody makes a silly little video about the religion (Innocense of Muslims) then whole countries of islamic followers get all upset and want to kill any body who is christian..
also you can speak kindly of anyone but it does not mean you are speaking correctly about them. To say certain things about Jesus may be kind but it is not accurate and actually makes Jesus LESS than who HE even said he was.
No wonder his followers are so "blood thirsty"
prophet mohammed said these things over 1000 yrs ago, and he warned many of the people will be ignorant of the truth in our day, and only a few will know the truth.... he promoted peace, harmony, and wellbeing to all, promoting the welfare of our planet, promoted equality & justice for all!!
