  What is Marxism in simple terms?

  Marxists think that all of written human history has been divided by economic classes. They think that the progression of history has been pushed forward by class struggle. Marxism says that it is from this struggle that Capitalism was born and that it is from this struggle that Communism (or Socialism) will be born.

  _This 'theory' is based on eastern and western Europe from 170 years ago when the royals/'elites' were absolute divided by class -at gun point-as an American we were taught-at least when I was young-individuality and a class less society in a way where through hard work, ingenuity, etc. a person could gain access to the 'upper classes' and this is absolutely true-marxism the way it is applied today is like a twisted religion to brow beat people into submitting to the 'progressive' viewpoint which is essentially creating guilt trips for the 'masses' to give more and more of their money-this destroys economies which is also the goal of modern marxists
