I heard one thing in that video that concerns me.
He is throwing the baby out with the bath water, by not being more specific in his suggestions that evil came up with the idea of unconditional love.
Evil, whatever his definition is, certainly did not come up with that idea.
They may be trying to twist and spin the idea for their own ends, sure.
However, the whole point of unconditional love, is to forgive the individual, not the behaviour.
Whatever has caused an individual to do harm to others, i can assure anyone reading this, it is due to a lack of unconditional love in cultures and societies.
I do not know what kind of boundaries this man is alluding to, though it sure seems like castle walls with water around it.
The second i hear the word unconditional love being used and i don't hear it prefaced with at least, all shall have by divine birth right, their basic needs met without condition, red flags go up for me.
No human is above or below another human, so the lack of unconditional love for others human needs and the structures set up around us, is the main cause of all problems.
Again, based on this video, he is trying to throw out the idea of unconditional love, just because a few bad apples have got together and created structures, to make it look as though unconditional love is not viable.
Of course it's not going to seem viable, when the very bad apples he speaks of, created the mess around us and most of us, help keep the mess going.
