  Further news about Murphy is that he has elevated white blood count, which invariably means some kind of blood cancer.
  The poor might is suffering quite severely, so will see if it is treatable by veterinary science.
  Meanwhile I shall call in another animal healer for a consultation.
  
  Strangely 22 years ago I had leukamia and thank God was cured by clever oncologists.

  Here is a reading from a Reiki healer on Murphy:

  With all healing sessions I begin with an open mind to being guided to where the healing needs to go, rather than starting with that which I already know about a person or animal. Healing will go to where it is required. Sometimes one area will need to be worked on before the main area that is an issue can be worked on.
  
  On connecting with Murphy I was presented with an image of him laying on his right side with his head up, looking quite alert. As I tuned in I was initially drawn to his left hip (1). The healing was concentrated to here for some time and then moved to his lower spine between his hips. This is the area of the Sacral Chakra (2). As I moved to this area I was presented with an image of Murphy laying on his right side with his head down.
  
  Following this I kept my mind open still to being drawn to where the healing was needed. I questioned working on the right side but was given an area of white light and an image of an older woman, and suggested to me an emotional connection. I felt Murphy did not want me to work on the right side.
  
  The image I then received was asking me to give healing to the bladder region for a while. The healing then moved to the middle of the back (dorsal). The colour given was a vibrant yellow. This is the colour of the Solar Plexus Chakra. I felt that the energy movement here was in the form of a massage both sides and away from the spine. (4)
  
  The next stages of the healing I was asked not to concentrate on a particular area but to put Murphy in a ball of green healing energy. Healing is indicated as green with the assistance of Archangel Raphael. This changed to a blue light.
  
  From this Murphy’s front left leg was presented to me as a bright orange. This received healing for about 10 minutes. (7) The healing then moved around to the shoulders. Here the feeling became very tired and heavy (8).
  
  The healing then pulled my hands around to the Heart Chakra for a while and then the Throat Chakra.
  
  The session closed with a flushing the spine with energy, which is cleansing.
  
  The image presented to me to finish was similar to the image above. A very bright and alert dog.
  
  In summary the feedback was clear. The key structural areas I worked on were the left hip, bladder front left leg and shoulders. Chakra balancing occurred at the Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart and Throat Chakras.
  
  The duration of the session was approximately 40 minutes.
