Line 1 & 2: The great star is a comet, and the cloud the coma. The comet will burn so brightly in the sky it appears that we have two suns. (Alternative translation :'The great star for September days will burn'). Since it is visible at the same time as the sun (a daylight comet such as the Great Daylight Comet of 1910) we can conclude it approaches from the sun's sector of the sky. It's brightness indicates a close approach. Line 3: Nostradamian scholars usually identify the mastiff as representing Britain - so we have a period of national distress in Britain. Line 4: Events necessitate the Papacy's relocation from Italy.

Line 1: What type of mountain is round? A good reference here is to the burning mountain of Revelations which John describes as being thrown into the oceans - a clear reference to an asteroid or comet [Revelations 8:8]. So it appears we have a meteor or asteroid which AFTER (i.e. the hit) causes war, famines, floods, great countries to be sunk.

I agree with the translations here. Before I read the translation, I was translating for myself and then read and it was stating that in which I was thinking as well.
Thanks your viewpoint, dear Malcolm. Anyway, for my understanding, there have been several theories about Pope Franciscus, as in one side overlighted lightworker and another side as the proxy of the Illuminaties, as like Obama. We can discuss further on it by encrypting the Nostradamus prophecy. The astonishing one for me is that Nostradamus already read one of the future timelines possible in our Now Earth. So, that's the key point we will discuss further on it, whether he just read the diverted timeline or just the Now timeline.
The serpent on the shore of the Tiber could be the current Pope in Italy; Pope Franciscus' parents are of northern Italian origin. Keep in mind that the current pope is the current "clean" spokesperson for the New World Order bank with its New World Order currency system; this system could be "the beast" (and not necessarily a person).
Mabus is Nostradamus' "third antichrist;" The United States of America has had three central banking systems: (1) the First Bank of the United States (which was denied a second charter in 1811, and of which many claim that this denial led to the War of 1812 (reportedly at the behest of an angry Nathan Mayer Rothschild, who lost millions because of this charter loss)) (2) the Second Bank of The United States (which was bankrupted by President Jackson by ordering all land payments in gold or silver.
