So far cost of the project £600,000 ($938,170)...the bloody fools.
DO NOT LOOK FOR OTHER PLANETS TO LIVE ON IF YOU CANNOT LOOK AFTER THE PLANET YOU CALL HOME.
So people's attitude is escapism as they have messed up Planet Earth and now they are planning to abandon it and leave it in a bad state.
The money used for this project should be used to improve Planet Earth

Here we go again :
There are already bases on the Moon.
The Moon is artifical not a heavenly body.
Any drilling on the moon may cause damage.
The beings already on the Moon will only accommodate you if your attention is good or like they say NASA Astronauts were told to clear off and the Astronauts say huge UFOs there
