PET ROCK: I don't think it's a "lefty" thing. I think it's a refusal to accept that we have criminals running the U.S. government, regardless if they are friends with or relatives to certain important names (such as Clinton or Bush).
Keep in mind that John F. Kennedy was a real liberal (and a real sex addict) with a sense of wanting to help everyone improve their lives. He also had an IQ of 140 plus, and did his homework on the economy and determined that LOWERING TAXES AND NOT EXPANDING GOVERNMENT (INCLUDING THE MILITARY) was the best formula for benefiting everyone. And he was right, it worked. And then Johnson f*cked it up with Vietnam and creation of the welfare state. The end result is that we are now a country made up of U.S. citizens who don't know what the 4th Amendment of the Constitution is, but these same citizens know the square footage of the houses of Tom Brady and Jay-Z, as well as the make-up used by Beyonce and Caitlyn Jenner.
